Very comfortable with wide toe box
I ordered an earlier version of these 3 years ago. Just had to retire them. The newer version is just as comfortable. Wider toe box, I can lift weights in them as they are flatter. My new favorite pair.

I bought these shoes specifically to wear while rucking some city park concrete trails. I typically wear very minimal shoes but when I took up rucking I knew I needed something with a bit more cushioning. Other “barefoot” style shoes look a little too goofy looking for my taste. These fit the bill of being cute and lightweight. The quality is good, they have worn some but have held up great for the many miles I have put on them. They are true to size and worth the price.
These fit true to size and are comfortable right out of the box. I wear these to Orangetheory and they're great on the treads, floor, and the rower. One thing not obvious from the pictures is that the top of the shoe is a tight mesh. Your sock color shows through on the top and my orange Bombas are a perfect accent. It's the little things. I really like the look and think the mesh keeps my feet a little cooler.
Quality shoe, was not a right fit for me
I wear primarily barefoot sneakers for everything but my chiro recommended I give Altras a try for running after a foot injury. I like these because they are pretty close to what I am used to with my barefoot shoes - plenty of toe box room, doesn't have a super thick sole, pretty flexible. They've been comfy so far for my short runs.
These fit well but started falling apart after 200 miles of hiking. ripped a hole in the toe and the side where my foot bends.
I have a wide toe box on my feet, and Altras are the only comfortable walking/running shoes for me. I also like that these shoes have zero drop. So much better for your feet! The style/color is cute. I get a lot of compliments and inquiries.
