Super comfy for every day wear.I know what they’re designed for, but these are my daily shoes. The wide toe box is welcoming and the biggest benefit over any other shoe I own. They have nice traction for muddy/wet areas. I can wear them and forget to take them off because they don’t hurt or bother my feet after a long day in them. They have nice support without being heavy or eventually feeling uncomfortable.10/10 best shoes I’ve owned
I am an avid walker/hiker. Suddenly, I developed a problem with my Achilles. I tried several styles and these are the only ones that allow me to continue walking (on flatter surfaces). Slowly, I am making improvements. They have good support and a nice, wide toe. The bottom of the sole is also wide with very good grip. I have worn them 2 months and they are holding up well.
Altra lone peak’s are my favorite shoe. I were them on the trail while hiking, at work and around town. They are not for everyone, their zero drop design makes them less desirable to the high arch community. They are lightweight and have good traction and grip for tough terrain. They have a wide toe box to allow your toes to spread apart and help to provide better balance. I have multiple pairs and get compliments on their appearance. The lower profile and less cushion give you more ankle stability. Once I wore Altra lone peak’s I have not liked/wore a different trail shoe. If you’re on your feet or on trail all the time these are Worth every penny!
These shoes are so comfortable. The are great to get my toes straight and slowly getting my hammer toes reversed. They dry quickly and has great traction. I am flat footed and these do best since they are no rise shows.
I work in health care. You learn fast you have to take care of your feet. Altra zero drop shoes are the best I have found. Offers some cushion and support. Super good soles that keep you from slipping on wet surfaces. And the rip stop material is somewhat water resistant and easy to clean. These are my go to work and play shoes. And the colors are great. Get compliments on these every time I wear them. Comfortable right out of the box. I wear a 7 in most shoes and the 7 in these is perfect. They do have a wider toe box than some of the other altras but I love them. May be uncomfortable if you have a really narrow foot, mine is average.
Great shoe but the color is very off…Much more purple rather than maroonruns true to size
Can't understand how I wore other tennis shoes with pointed toe after wearing these.Size 9. Enough cushion and support for my flat feet right out of the box. My right foot is slightly larger than left foot (longer and wider), so the right shoe is a LITTLE narrow in the heel and side of inner heel.My right leg is my resting leg, and the slight arch of the shoe pushes on inner right heel. That can feel a little tired/uncomfy if standing still for hours, but as soon as I'm waking or moving in them, there is no pain for fatigue. A nice spring in the step.I've not had ANY residual pain the next day even if the heel gets a little uncomfy the day before. I think over time, it will break in more, but the spot on heel happens to fall right on seam of the shoe where the insole kinda arches up.Either way, no complaint. I really enjoy wearing these shoes. I feel like I stand up straighter in them!
