Tested and Trusted: Bought Two Pairs for a Reason!

Durable, Comfortable, and Worth a Second Pair!I’ve put about 275 trail miles on each of my Altra Outreach 2 women’s trail shoes—and I liked them so much, I bought a second pair! These shoes are impressively durable, with tread that holds up even after hundreds of miles. I now use my first pair for yard work, and they still have excellent grip. One small issue: the first pair has a tear where the soft plastic meets the fabric, but it hasn’t affected performance at all. The roomy toe box is a standout feature, giving my feet the space they need on long runs, and the snug ankle fit keeps debris out without being uncomfortable. The weight is just right—not too heavy, but supportive enough for rugged terrain.Highly recommend these for trail runners looking for comfort, durability, and solid performance!

Sent the wrong size

This shoe is supportive and comfortable. Unfortunately I was sent a 9.5 instead of the 8.5 that was advertised so too big. I will have to return.

Love this brand

Altra shoes are perfect. With the wide toe box they make the best fitting shoes for me. ♥️ However they are not for everyday wear. Working like I do they don’t last. I think I purchased my last pair in May and I already need new shoes. The material starts tearing at the toes. I may have to find something else..

Good coĺors but Thin fabric.

They are very good looking shoes. I love the color. The rebound is good when your walking. So comfortable. So the specs I believe said road shoe and light trial... No this is trail tac. These are TRAIL shoes.Shoelaces don't stay tied.... I have the same problem with Brooks. Thats a hazard when your trail running. The fabric is a bit thin, thinner than any shoe I've ever worn. I am afraid of ripping it if I hike amongst sticking up roots or prickly bushes. (like blackberry bushes, thorny bush)I got mine on sale. About $70, I don't feel the fabric they use is a good value for that price or full retail, not durable enough.

Shoelace hole tore <2 months

Very unfortunate. After a month and a half of use, the shoelace hole tore through. They are about to be unusable. They broke right after the return window, so it was a complete waste of money. Really unfortunate because I’ve used this brand before and they were great. Very disappointed.

Great fit and very comfortable!

These are fabulous fitting shoes that are so comfortable to wear! I actually got my first pair at Nordstom's Rack and loved them so much that I searched for another pair and found these. They feel good to walk in or work out in and they give plenty of space for your toes which is nice. Definitely worth the money.

Not so durable!

I do a lot of trail running but also run on pavement from my home to the trail, so I wanted a shoe that could do either. Not expecting to wear it for long runs, mostly runs in the 4-8 mile range. These shoes were highly rated for road + trail, but after only 40 miles in them, they are deteriorating quickly. The sole is OK so far, but there is a hole forming in the upper where my toes must be hitting the top of the shoe and the heel is already fraying. I don't think I will get more than 200 miles out of these before they are toast. Also, these have a pretty built up arch, and my feet don't love that (though that may be a desirable feature for others). Not a whole lot of protection under the ball of the foot (they don't have a rock plate), so not great for very rocky trails (at least for me). Pretty disappointed--I was really hoping to find the perfect road to trail shoe.
