Great Entry Zero-Drop Sneakers
I have been wanting to purchase a pair of barefoot sneakers for a while. In my research, I found these Zero-Drop shoes, which to my knowledge means there is no toe to heel height difference like you would get in a typical running shoe. These also have a wide toe box, which is super comfy and roomy. These have enough cushion still to make it feel like you're not walking barefoot, but enough room around your toes to make it possible to splay your toes and get the "barefoot" experience. The only con is the tongue. The material is stiff and a little uncomfortable, but after a few wears it didn't bother me anymore. These are a great shoe for anyone looking for a roomier toe box or to work their way to a barefoot shoe altogether. Would highly recommend and will buy again!

Awesome shoes!
I have been wearing these shoes for running and LOVE THEM. the tan pair have over 300 miles on them and are holding up well. I marathon trained and ran my marathon in these and has ZERO blisters post marathon. The wear on the tread is due to my gait, but the little side peice is floppy but I'd put that to the amount of wear on them. They do take a while to break in for running, so I wear the blue ones at work and daily activities so that when I retire the tan, they are ready for running. I do not recommend running in them right out the box. The wide Toe box is lovely and they are so comfortable. My first pair of zero drop shoes and I like them a lot. The tongue does bite, so I would NOT recommend low cut or no show socks or the tongue will rub that spot raw. I wear features socks with the tabs and have no issues except for the first time or two wearing them. The laces also almost never come undone, they're not slick which is super nice! Least favorite part about these is just the long break in period but I plan to keep running in these!

Plantar fasciitis shoe
I have had chronic plantar fasciitis going on 9 months. This shoe was recommended by Dr. Angela Walk. It lowers the heel and permits your toes to splay out as they would normally land on a floor when barefoot. It has not been “the” cure. It is one of many adjustments I am making (to include strengthening exercises and weight loss.) My wide duck feet have never been so happy. I have now ordered four pair - one for walking, one for support in-house and for the treadmill (clean sole,) one for my hospital volunteer days, and one for casual attire. I can’t say enough good things about them… with one exception! Someone in design needs to adjust the tongue length by about a quarter inch. It is too long and cuts into my ankle if I don’t remember to pull my anklet sock up above the tongue to protect my ankle. Hoping someone will look into this. The tongue material is made in such a way I have been able to trim off about an eighth of an inch without damaging the shoe.

32 year old Cross Country Coach
I loved the design of these running shoes. The only issue I had was the tongue of the shoe would rub on my ankle and caused a blister. All I had to do was use a little taller of a sock and it took care of the problem. Very comfortable and reliable running shoe. This shoe is definitely made for wider feet. Which is nice because there are not a lot of running shoes out there for wider feet. Completely took my knee pain away. Great product especially for the price! Will definitely be buying this brand again!!!

Good shoe, terrible tongue!
Bought this because of the larger toe box as recommended by my doctor. Saw some other complaints of the tongue rubbing on ankles, figured people didn't wear the shoe long enough for it to break in. WRONG! I've had the shoes for about 2 months now and continue to get rub marks/cuts on my ankles from runs about 1-4 miles! I usually wear a 9.5 and sized up to 10 and my toes rub funny on the one of the shoes. Great concept but I would not purchase again. If the roads are wet, my socks seem to get wet within the first 10 minutes, which I have not experienced before in other running shoes.Overall the shoe would be great, good support and comfortable less the issues mentioned. Will keep and continue to wear for shorter runs but would not purchase again.

My go to running shoe
I am obsessed with Altra and this is now my go to running shoe! I used to wear Brooks Ghost running shoes, but the wide toe box and fit of these Altra's has changed my mind. I love that my toes have space, the shoes are comfortable, and fit well. The only issue I have with this shoe is the tongue construction, it does rub and initially caused me to have blisters on the front of my ankles. I have now purchased taller running socks and don't have this problem any more but it's something to be aware of if you run in low profile socks. Otherwise they are great!

My favorite everyday shoe
I first bought this shoe at full retail value last year in REI. I fell in love with the shape of the shoe and how comfortable it is on the foot. Especially having the full spread of the toes.I'm glad I did get fitted in store though because these shoes are cut small. Order a whole size up. I've seen other reviews that mention this as well but they suggested going up a half size. The color is way more of a pale bluish mint than Grey which I adore.I ran my first pair ragged so I was happy to find them here on Amazon for half the price!
