Vickie, wide width fit with plenty of padding & wiggle room for my toes
I have Morton’s neuroma’s on both feet. Had surgery decades ago. Now having trouble with my feet because I lost my custom made orthotic inserts but when I put/ slipped my right foot into these shoes it felt like a Cinderella fit!!! I dress for comfort now days & feel like I can wear these shoes & color with my dress casual clothes & still look nice & appropriate even for church! I immediately checked to feel if I had enough room to wiggle my toes when standing & I did! I worked as a nurse for yrs & had awful foot pain back when we had to wear all white uniforms. My feet hurt me because I couldn’t find a shoe with enough padding but these shoes & style fit the requirements! The ball/ toe room is wide enough for me + the padding! Unbelievable! I have several pairs of them in earlier models. My favorite and most comfortable for me were the Torin 7 version.When I first received these they felt a bit too roomy in the toe box and needed a bit of breaking in.I wear them for everyday walking. I have neuropathy and arthritis in my toes and flat feet. After a few wearings, I find them extremely comfortable and love the higher cushioned sole. Wouldn’t hesitate to buy again and most likely will in other colors.

I am slowly leaning into the barefoot shoe game, two years ago I jumped into too fast and had a year of foot pain to show for it. So, I use these Altra's for walking a few miles a day about 4 times a week, I switch off with New Balance 580's and Brooks (old Ghosts). Altra's are not as squishy as the Brooks Ghost nor as arch-supportive as the New Balance.What I love is how connected to the ground I feel with enough cushion to walk and not worry about foot pain. The wide toe box is amazing, I especially love the difference in feel for uphill walking flexibility, I feel the whole of my toes and ball of foot fully working as I push off with each step. I find these very comfortable but not squishy/cloud-like/springy, again it promotes a more grounded and secure footing feel. Personally, I like the style, they fit true to size for me and adore the blue color. Will buy again, thanks for making these.

These are so comfortable. I have arthritis in my little toe and can’t wear any other shoe I was stuck wearing flip flops so my toe wouldn’t touch any thing. I bought a pear from another shoe store.
