Little Boy Birkenstock Vibes – Wide-Feet Friendly & Play-Approved
I ordered these sandals for my 6-year-old for when the weather warms up again, and I’m already calling it: these are going to be his spring/summer “wear with everything” shoes.They have that classic 90s Birkenstock look with the faux cork-style footbed and two simple straps across the top, but in a kid-proof version. I chose the black because little boys are magnets for dirt, and black just hides more of the chaos.What I really love is how wide-foot friendly they are. My son definitely has “Flintstone feet,” and these still work great thanks to the fully adjustable straps. The top straps don’t dig into his foot, and we can get them snug without squeezing him. There’s also an adjustable heel strap, which is basically the sandal version of putting Crocs in sport mode — tighten it up and he can run, climb, scooter, and play without slipping out of them.I ordered them slightly big so he can grow into them, and between the Velcro and the heel strap, they stay on just fine right now and will easily loosen as his feet grow. The soles feel sturdy, the straps are well attached, and the Velcro is strong, so I’m not worried about them falling apart mid-summer.They’re also really versatile:Play shoes for the park, backyard, bike, scooter, all the thingsCute enough to wear with khaki shorts and a button-up for church, brunch, or nicer outingsSimple, sturdy, comfy, and easy to adjust — I’m very happy with these and would absolutely order more pairs in other colors.

Solid Kids Sandals, Overpriced Like Most Kids Shoes 🌞
My son hasn’t worn these yet since it’s December in Indiana and sandals + snow obviously don’t mix. 😂 So this review is based on first impressions rather than long term wear.That said, these seem wider than a lot of typical kids’ sandals, which I REALLY appreciate since we tend to have wider feet in our family. #hobbitfeetThe quality feels pretty decent overall. They’re described as lightweight, and while they’re not insanely lightweight, they do have enough weight to feel semi-sturdy and not flimsy or cheap. I like the style and color, and I think they’ll work well for my son once warmer weather hits.My main complaint is the price. At just under $24 at the time of this review, it feels a little high for kids’ sandals and for what these are. I really feel like $20 MAX would make more sense. Kids shoes are almost always priced like adult shoes, even though they clearly use less material, and that’s hard for me to understand and wrap my mind around. Overall, these seem solid for daily wear, I just wish the price was a bit more reasonable and affordable.

Adjustable and comfortable
I ordered Amazon essentials toddlers cork sandals, and I got them in the color taupe. These fit my granddaughter true to size, and were easy to put on. I especially appreciate how there was an adjustable back closure on the heel. With the faux leather upper and cork bottom, they are sturdy for little feet. My granddaughter ran around in them all day so comfortable as well it would appear. The best feature of all to me would be that each strap is adjustable so it’s not one size fits all which is good. Overall, this sandal is good quality and a great value in my opinion. Perfect for your little toddler. Comfort, cute style, and easy to put on. All good things in my opinion.

These sandals are well made but run very wide. Even with the adjustable straps tightened as much as possible, we couldn’t get them secure enough. My child has an average-to-narrow foot and found them loose and uncomfortable, and said he wouldn’t wear them out of the house.They may work well for kids with wide feet, but they weren’t a good fit for us.

Really nice knockoff!
I ordered these for myself because while I am not a boy, I have small feet and a big kid's 5 is a women's 7. When these arrived for a second I thought they looked a bit small, but once I put them on I realized that is not the case. These are really nice sandals and are definitely a good knockoff of a more well known brand. These were really comfortable, the foot bed was covered in a velvety material so its not just plain cork, its comfortable on the feet. They are easily adjusted and easy to get on and off. I like these because I have wide feet, so I can adjust the straps and they are not too tight. Its been really cold where I live, so I have not been able to wear these outside yet, but I wore them around my house for a few days and they were comfortable, didn't rub in the wrong places, and they look really nice too! I would definitely recommend these to someone who's looking for this style of sandal, but doesn't want to pay the high price of the brand name.
