Very well made but skinny

These shoes are very well made. The soles are hard rubber. Not with the best traction but they do grip the ground a little bit. The canvas upper is made of good, durable material with excellent stitching. The elastic on each side is thick and strong. The inside wall and etc feels and smells like leather. The walls are smooth and soft to the touch and baby my feet. The insoles have 3/16” thick padding. The midsole makes a very tightly formed seal around the shoe connecting the sole and the upper.One thing I had trouble with is that the thin padding along with the stiff sole make it kind of hard on the bottom of my feet. The sole does not bend much at all. The shoes hit the ground hard on my feet. Another thing is that the shoes are about ¼” less wide than they need to be for my feet. In fact they hurt the sides of my feet as I walk. Those with skinny feet would probably really enjoy them. Lastly, there is no arch in them. They are flat. Though you could switch out the insole with another well padded insole with arch support and be just fine.All in all though they are good looking shoes that are priced fairly reasonably. I got the Navy/White ones and they match quite a few things. These shoes would accent just about any outfit and they could be worn for everyday or for semi-casual events provided they fit your shape of feet.

Nice Sneaker, but Runs Narrow

I got these sneakers for my husband in grey/white. He said they were just okay. He liked the amount of padding on the bottom but said he wished there was more of an arch support built into the sneaker.The canvas on the side seemed durable and the elastic built in made the sneaker easy to put on and take off which he liked. The soles have a small tread and he could walk on tile and wood floors without slipping.The biggest issue he had with the sneakers, however, is that they are very narrow. He tends toward wider feet and that made the sneakers uncomfortable for him. He can wear them for a short period of time but wouldn’t be able to wear them all day.I thought they looked nice on him, but his comfort is the most important thing and for that they don’t rate highly. If you have narrow or medium width feet, you will probably really like these sneakers. They are well-made and a good value. Until these are available in a wide width, however, you should consider not purchasing.
