Lightweight but effective
I was looking for a cheaper and lighter alternative to hip waders for portaging during a cool weather river kayak trip. This are not a heavy-duty boot, they are thin enough to roll up but still fairly durable. I'm 5'7" and they come up to my knees but are waterproof only up to the top of the rubber itself, the top fabric section is not. Also I suggest measuring your foot before choosing a size. The ordering details were spot on. I usually wear a 9 in tennis shoes but ordered these bigger according to the measurements and they fit perfect, but be warned that if you have really big calves, these might be too skinny at the top to pull all the way up.

Great size but very thin.
I've been looking for a boot that is taller thanthe average 16" boot to help me launch my boat. These boots excell in that theyare a full 19" tall ( to th my knee cap). They come right to my knee. I got size 10 and they are true to size. They are also wide enough so that I can tuck my jeens inside as I slip them on. This gives me a few more inches of leeway when wading. Thier downfall is that the rubber portions VERY thin. The sides are thin but the sole is also thinner than near any rain boot I've ever purchased. Update: I'm adding a star as I actually got to use the boots today while hauling my boat. They were more comfortable than I expected while walking on rocks/gravel at teh ramp. They also went on/of easily. Lastly, they didn't leak a drop.
