Cute and chunky on trend boots, but are they really leather?
I really want to love these boots! Chelsea boots continue to be very on-trend and these check so many boxes in the style category - chunky heel, platform sole, nice tight ankle structure for wearing with skirts, but there are some drawbacks.Like other customers, I am just not convinced the boots are leather. There was a strong, chemical smell when I first open the package, and it took some time for it to dissipate. Even after that, I couldn't find a tag or a semblance of look and feel of leather, although they are good replica.They are cute to wear and stylish on your foot. They go on tight and they run small. This can be problematic with no half sizes. My box was marked size 39 European, which should be an US size 8.5 and there is no way this boot I have is 8.5. It is barely an 8. I can make them work with thin socks or tights, but make sizing a consideration if purchasing. I don't mind that they go on tight, because I prefer Chelsea boots that wear closer to my ankles, rather than being stretched out, so I am pleased with that aspect of the style.Lastly, they are very comfortable, with a very cushioned footbed, so if I can get a little stretch in the length, I think they would be great for walking and wearing.

Snug fit
I'm so disappointed with these boots. They're exactly my style of boots, but the fit of them ruins the entire experience.These boots were the tightest "size 9" shoes I've ever worn. It was a struggle to put them on, and once I did get them on I hated how they felt on my feet. My toes were at the very tippy top of the shoe. These boots have absolutely no wiggle room. I couldn't suck it up and deal with them. I took ten steps before immediately taking them off and switching them out with some platform sneakers. I have slender and narrow feet. So I'm not understanding why these boots are so tight on me. They suffocated the life out of my feet after only a few short minutes of wearing them.I really wish they fit me better, because these are some nice quality boots! They look just as great too. The leather is plenty nice, no creasing during the initial try on. And the platform part of the boots.... ugh they're so lovely. They gave me a nice bit of height without causing pain in my heels or ankles.Maybe these boots would fit better on someone with smaller feet than me, but I just can't recommend getting these boots if you have longer feet like I do.
