Comfortable from day one, cute and complimentary with any outfit. Left shoe elastic was slightly loose on my ankles but I remedied that by adding a cute grosgrain ribbon which I am now able to adjust to my liking.
These are some of my favorite shoes. They fit amazing and are so comfortable.

This is a very well made shoe, especially the front, crossing over. It's nicer than another ordinary espadrille front. It's way more stylish. It's pretty.There are several inconsistencies to note.I bought it in 2 sizes. The strap was too big for the size that fit my foot. I actually have wide ankles, so this could be a problem for someone with a slim ankle.The shoe is pink, but the elastic strap is a different color. The crossover tries to pick up the color of the strap.Because it didn't fit well and the pink was not a match for my dress I had to return it. I still think it could be nice for someone else.* I write reviews to let you know how this product was for me. and to aid you in making your decision, to buy or not buy.
Long been an Anne fan, clothes, shoes, glasses, etc. These shoes, however, are vastly overpriced. There isn't anything here in materials, craftsmanship, comfort or quality to warrant the $80 asking price. I guess that's why they sat in my cart until I saw the price had dropped on this particular color. $80 down to $15, yes, I'll try them. And so I did. And here I am with my report. :)The shoes fit true to size with a tiny bit of room to spare. I was attracted to the buckle-less design and wide strap to hide heat-swollen ankles. The shoes are a breeze to put on and adequately comfortable to walk in, but they do "flop" ever so slightly with every step. I tried a similar model from another brand that had a less chunky strap around the back of the ankle, and the effect was rather disconcerting, like I was going to walk out of the shoes. Anne's wider ankle straps definitely help to minimize the effect, which becomes practically unnoticeable after a little while.The gold metallic was unexpected and subtle, but very appreciated. I love that! The shoes are adorable, the perfect little espadrille to be dressed up or down. They just cost too much. Canvas and yarn shoes are hard to clean and aren't usually known for their longevity. Recommend, only if you buy them on sale...or you don't mind overpaying. :)
I love the way these look. I have wide ankles and it's hard to find a shoe to compliments them. The wide strap looks perfect. The stretch makes it look more natural and not like I'm stuffing my foot into something that doesn't fit. They do slide up-and-down when you walk, which would be expected. Since this strap is elastic. Pretty much like wearing sandals that don't flip-flop. The sole is soft and cushioned. The downside is the toe. I had hoped that it was canvas but it was pretty hard and pushes on my little toe. I love them so much I'm going to wear them with a corn pad which does work!
I love this shoe. It's very comfortable and sturdy. The heel height is perfect.
