Looks great, fit and performance underwhelming
The Anta Rocket 6.0 is an average and somewhat disappointing shoe. The heel counter and middle section of the shoe is too tight for a medium width in my opinion. Despite being allegedly equipped with a torsional support system I found this shoe had absolutely zero support. I would place this shoe in the cushioned category. You can try to insert an aftermarket orthotic to help correct, but that offers only a limited advantage. The laces are the cheap side, and the shoe comes pre-laced in an odd configuration that I had to instantly change. The heal counter pull is also very cheaply made. The extra grippy outsole is just not a good feature for running unless you are on a trail, and if you have a pet it will instantly be covered in pet hair that you will not be able to remove.Although the price point is still south of a hundred, there is a lot of competiion and I would prefer to stick to more established brands with more reliable fit and performance. I just felt awkward with or without an orthotic in this shoe. the last is semi-curved which is more suited to under pronators. If you have trouble finding a well cushioned shoe at this price point it is worth a try, but if you have any type of foot issue you may want to consider looking elsewhere.
