I got these shoes for my 5 yr old before school started. She is usually a size 11-12. These shoe size is little big for her,she will have room to grow into, which I dont mind. So i wouod say true to soze w/room to grow. She can walk comfortably on the platform, she has already got so many compliments & you can beat the price. I got her a pair of high top shoes just like this from children's place & spent $20 more. I will be keeping these, I would def buy another pair & recommend. I hate buying $50+ shoes hust to get destoryed in a month!

These are a great choice for kids that want Converse and you don't want to pay Converse money because you know that they will grow out of them so fast or they just literally run through their shoes cause they play hard. They fit true to size. My daughter said they were comfy and she loves the high top because of the ankle support. Definitely a good choice if your little wants Converse but don't want to get actual Converse til their feet slow down on growing.
