Very good and comfy for the whole working day. Protect the feet well
I like these shoes they’re very comfortable, lite weight and slip proof. I had a pair previously and wore them out so I needed to get a new pair. The quality for the money is great kinda like a croc shoe yet with an arch and slip resistant. Fit true to size.
===== UPDATE JUN 12 2023 =====Despite Amazon not offering an exchange within days of dropping off my size 12 pair at a UPS Store with 15 minutes to spare on a Friday for the last UPS ground pickup the refund was already pending in my account. I did not expect that and was pleasantly surprised. That evening I ordered a size 11 and they arrived yesterday, Jun 11. It was a hot day yesterday (93F+) and so the shoes were very warm. I tried them on anyway with a regular (not thick) pair of ankle socks. I wore them around the house for a few hours. I keep the house cooled at 73F at this time of year. During this entire time the back of my heels still kept shifting up and down, much to my dismay. But they were very comfortable! Resigned, after a few hours, I took them off, put them away with a sigh knowing I would have to return them and move on to something else entirely. However, a little bit earlier today I figured: "Well, I still have them" so I have decided to try them on again and wear the around the house. I put on a slightly different pair of socks (cotton, athletic, no-show) and they have been fitting so far almost perfectly. I still get a little bit of the back of my heels riding up and down.Between yesterday and today so far I would say that the fairly large amount of the back of my heel slipping up and down was in all likelihood due to the fact that the shoe material expanded due to the heat of being on the delivery truck and being on my front porch in the middle of the afternoon that gets full sun during a fairly hot day. What I still notice from yesterday and today is that these shoes do make some noises while walking around on hard flooring (luxury vinyl planks and porcelain / ceramic tiles). But I think that is to be expected considering the materials (so, no playing ninja on anyone). They are not very noisy, just noticeable in a quiet home. I have taken note though that they seem to be a little bit quieter on the porcelain / ceramic tile. After a few hours today I will slip on the same pair of socks I used yesterday. After that I will try a thicker pair of socks. In both cases I will update this review.===== ORIGINAL REVIEW =====I was so excited for these to finally arrive today and was incredibly disappointed that they are too large. I ordered a size 12 and evidently need an 11 (turns out that the Amazon size recommendation is more accurate in this case than the manufacturers sizing chart.I was not happy to find that the cushioned inserts are pretty cheap. They are removable and that was not expected either. There are better replaceable insoles out there for anywhere from $5 and up, depending on your needs and lifestyle. This is the sole (pun intended) reason I knocked off a star. For me I ordered these with the intention to become my next long distance vigorous walking and everyday shoes. They are certainly very lightweight which is a requirement of mine. But the fact that on my regular size they are too big winds up meaning the back of my heels slip / move which is definitely unwelcome for long distance walking.Even though I could only wear them inside my home and then for less than five (5) minutes due to being too large they do appear to be mostly water proof and looks like they will allow the feet to breathe. They felt very comfortable and I barely knew they were there for the time that I did have them on,So these are being returned. I am so sad that Amazon did not offer to do an exchange as part of "How can we make it right?" because at least that way I would get a size 11 in a couple of days. Now I am stuck waiting for the return to be received and then an account credit and then I can order again. Yes of course I can just order a size 11 straight up and half all of that time and go from there (and I probably will). But not everyone out there might be fortunate enough to be able to do this.
Run small, inserts arent adhered to the sole so they come out when you take off or are bunched up when you put them on. I’m a 5.5/6, purchased size 6, worn with regular/thin cotton socks and they were too tight I tried giving them a few days try but I was just uncomfortable and got a blister. Might be ok if buy a size bigger but I don’t like insoles that move around/bunch up/ come out of shoe
Comfortable and light on the feet.
After reading a review that the shoe size runs, one size smaller. I got a size bigger and this was too big for my foot. The shoes are not that comfortable after working for 12 hours on my feet. My feet hurt. These were bought for nursing school purposes. They are good for the price.
Since discovering the Anywear shoe, I don't wear anything else for work (in healthcare). I walk about 10K steps every workday and my feet NEVER hurt. It's like "walking on clouds" and I no longer worry about getting varicose veins. There's also no worries about tripping... healthcare professionals will know what I mean.
