True to size so I would recommend to get your normal size. I love them even but I went with a half size larger & they are a bit big on me. I measured my foot according to the instructions & followed the review recommendations to go up a half size but i should have just stuck with my normal size of 8 1/2.Even though they are a little big, they are super comfortable & gets me through 2 hours of dance class in comfort. They are super light as well. I'm very happy with them.

Nice Dance Practice Shoes

These dance practice shoes appeared to be of good quality. The suede bottoms were well attached with reinforced red stitching as shown. The thing that stood out about this particular style is that they were narrower than most, which is a good thing for those of us with narrow feet. Previous dance shoes I used were very roomy in the toe box allowing my foot to shift in the shoe. These provided much more support. I usually wear a size 8 shoe and these were true to size.

Flimsy heel afraid I might fall

I actually loved the look and fit of this shoe. I wear a 9w, and I ordered a 9.5 and the fit was fine. I even love that it has a little heel. The problem unfortunately is the heel. It feels so flimsy I am too afraid to dance in them as I might fall. I can see me dancing and the heel give out and me going down. That would not be a pretty picture. I so wanted to love these, unfortunately I will have to return and go up in price to find something more sturdy.
