Fake Air pocket offers NEGATIVE comfort, feels like wood block in heel. Runs small so upsize.
AOV brand - Wide Walking Shoes Women Arch Support Plantar Fasciitis Tennis Sneakers Orthotic Tennis Shoes for Workout Gym Black Size 9.5WSIZING:. I ordered the 9.5W. My regular sneaker size is 8.5 but it's always better to upsize then risk getting something that's too tight. These are sized small. This should have been a full size bigger but instead, these 9.5 size feel like a size 8. My toe is hitting the end (pic3).It doesn't feel any wider to my normal sneakers so I don't know why it says "W" in the size.COMFORT: These are not lightweight for running. These are medium weight sneakers. I was surprised by their weight given there's an air pocket. It should have been lighter. Anyway, I put these on and tried walking around. TRIED.These sneakers are VERY UNCOMFORTABLE in the heel area. It feels like there is a block of wood under my heel. That air pocket must be just for show. I DON'T FEEL ANY CUSHION from it. Instead it feels like I'm walking on a piece of hard, solid wood. I haven't felt such pain in my heels since I wore tanker boots. These sneakers feel awful. The more I stand the more they hurt. Not counting the heel the rest of the sneaker is normal but lacking cushion.Lastly, I don't feel any arch support in the center. Perhaps it's because the heel is so much higher from that fake air pocket that my foot doesn't sit flat enough to take advantage of the arch but the way this sneaker is designed, it is very uncomfortable and PAINFUL to stand in. The hard solid heel doesn't even give you any lift like platform sneakers can. So, you're getting the pain of a heel without the benefit of the height boost. I had to take these off as soon as I was done reviewing these sneakers. I'm NEVER wearing these again. Unfortunately I can't even return these. I cannot recommend this product. They're just too uncomfortable to wear. Instead of extra comfort in the heel from that air pocket, the heel turns out to be a solid wooden block of pain and they're not even sized right.
