I LOVE these Apipi Warm Wide Slippers for Women!!! I’ll be honest that I wasn’t expecting much from them because they looked kind of thin in the photos. When they arrived, I was still unsure. Until I put them on my feet… I didn’t realize my feet were uncomfortable until I put these on. I know this sounds like a ridiculous over-the-top purchased review, but it’s not! They look so dang simple, but they feel so good! The sole is super duper flexible, but still provides enough protection to run outside really quick, if you need to (I wouldn’t go on gravel, though). The texture of the exterior reminds me of those old-fashioned lambswool hats – it’s very soft. The interior is a nice fleece; I’ve been wearing these pretty much all day every day since I got them (yay WFH!), and I see no evidence of the fleece pilling. The removeable insole is basically a faux sheepskin like the insoles of the more expensive (and real) famous brands. It also doesn’t show signs of pilling, but I can see that it will eventually tamp down, but that’s normal. These are considered “convertible” in that you can wear them like regular shoes, or you can fold down the back and wear them like clogs. The removeable insole comes in handy if you want to wear them that way, as it provides some cushion over the lumps. The toe box is nice and wide, so would be good for folks with bunions and hammertoes, and such. They are marketed as being for “elderly women” lmao, but they’re appropriate for any age, I’d think. My only gripes are: 1) the seam on the outside side where the front and back portions are sewn together is a little crunchy from the glue, and 2) they only have one color and it’s a light grey. I prefer my footwear to be darker in color because I have black cats & dogs and their fur doesn’t show as badly lol. The seam isn’t that big of a deal – when I say I’m fussy about my feet, that's an understatement, and these are very tolerable. I gave myself a few days to try them out, but I am now purchasing a pair for my mother-in-law for Christmas! She wears the “barefoot” style shoes, and these feel similar. Anyway, this was ridiculously long, but I really love them that much! I obviously think the current price of $18 USD is well worth it – a great value!

I actually ordered these to let my 93 year old grandmother wear. Her feet swell a lot, and normally this type of shoe will fit her well. I normally would get her a size 8 wide, while I wear a regular size 8. I used to wear a 7 1/2, but they are sometimes too tight, so I always order an 8. These were supposed to be 7 1/2 to 8 1/2, which would have been great for her. However, when I got these, I tried them on, and my toes go all the way to the end, in an uncomfortable way, and there's no way they are wide. They also seem to be fairly low quality, so not a great value for the money. The only really good thing I can say about them, is the sole does seem to be slip resistant. If you just need something to keep your feet warm, and don't plan on doing much walking in them, they may be alright, but I would definitely order a size up.

So light I forget I'm wearing slippers
I love that you can wear them with the back up like regular slippers or step down on the heel when you need to run outside quickly.The rubber sole gives good grip on my hardwood floors. No support. Better to just wear socks
These slippers are significantly overpriced. They offer no support and actually are painful to wear. They are like walking on cardboard. I should have known better than to buy a product with no reviews. They will go in the trash because it is a pain to return them since I do not drive and UPS charges for pickup. Please do not waste your money on these.
