The Arc'teryx Sylan GTX Men's Running Shoes are designed for mountain runners seeking speed and agility, even in challenging conditions. With GORE-TEX technology, these shoes offer exceptional waterproof and windproof protection, ensuring that your feet stay dry during intense workouts or inclement weather.
The upper is made from PFC-free recycled nylon yarns, providing both flexibility and strength to withstand rugged trails. Not only does this construction promote airflow, but it also effectively seals out moisture. The snug fit of the integrated knit collar prevents debris from entering while giving you a secure, sock-like feel.
The shoes feature a responsive dual-density rubber midsole with rocker geometry to enhance propulsion and energy return, making each step feel more dynamic. Coupled with the high-traction Vibram Megagrip outsole, the Sylan GTX delivers exceptional grip on various terrains, ensuring confidence as you tackle steep ascents and descents.

Water proof. More comfort than my hoka shoes. I walk a lot n my feet don't hurt.
Arc'teryx is a favorite brand for me and my family, and it must be scored for its impeccable design and practicality
Appears poorly made. Material doesn’t appear to fit on the sneaker. I expect better quality in a $160 sneaker. Am returning them.
Not as comfortable as the Sylan Pro, but still comfortable. The only real issue is that your food doesn't go deep enough into the shoe compared to the Pro.
The shoes appear to have a visible crease or defect on the upper material, especially noticeable on the side and front (see attached photos). It looks like the material is already bent or damaged, which makes them look worn or of lower quality than expected. I’d prefer an exchange or refund.
Agree with others who mentioned material being bunched up in areas. Quality was not what I expected from this brand. 2 stars because despite being the correct size, my ankle came out of the back when walking. Fit certainly was off overall. Would not purchase this brand again for hiking.
To be candid, these shoes are the most comfortable I have ever owned. I utilize them for hiking, work (where I stand on my feet for eight hours daily), and various other activities. Consequently, they have become my primary everyday footwear. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
