Great boots
Love the boots. Have taken the beating I put them through at work. As a welder they have delt with sparks, molten slag and sharp pieces of steel. Only upgrade I did was new insoles but if ya work on your feet ya know. Will definitely be reordering when I need new boots

GREAT QUALITY BOOT... STURDY AND COMFORTABLE
I've had this boot for exactly (1) one year now and I wear them literally every day in the warehouse and out in the yard in gravel, dirt, rain, etc for 8-12 hours a day. No joke. This boot does not leak or allow water to get feet wet.Sturdy yet super comfortableBuy some HUBERD'S SHOE GREASE water resistant additive and apply 2-3 heavy layers before use allow to dry well between layers I'd suggest allow to dry over night for each layer.Wear the boots for several days to allow a break in. Once broken in well... enjoyApply the Huberds shoe grease every couple months to keep them water proof and helps keep the leather soft and strongApply the shoe grease extra heavy on the sewing thread all around the bootI've walked through puddles of water that cover the boot to ankle deep and not once has water gotten in. Remarkable boot and Remarkable product in the Huberds shoe grease.Darkens the boot a bit but totally worth it for a work boot.

Sizing is off. Great boot otherwise
I have had these boots since November of 2017. These boots are on my feet 7 days a week, 12-15 hours a day, year round. I have to wear steel toe boots for my job (maintenence mechanic). I do plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, etc. I’ve worn these boots hunting as well. I’ve put these boots through hell and back and I still love putting them on my feet every morning..Lets talk about the cons of these boots... The sizing is off. In normal shoes I wear a 12, these boots are 11EE and are too big for my feet. I understand that there is supposed to be some slippage in the heel of the boot, but there is excessive slippage in these. Before you buy them online, stop in a local store that sells these or a similar pair that you like, and try them on to verify what size is best for you. I ended up having to buy inserts for these boots about 2 months ago to make them more snug on my feet. After the inserts were put in, the boots did fit much more snug. Also, these boots are much darker than they appear. If you are looking for a lighter colored boot, this is not it. Other than that, these boots are awesome. I highly recommend buying them for anyone who does manual labor or just wants a nice pair of boots. I gave these boots 4 stars instead of 5 due to the sizing being off.

2 days/ rubber sole started to come loose
First off, I work in the construction industry. Concrete floors, plywood floors, ladders, muddy trenches, gravel, standing water, snow, blistering heat, everything that a "sane" person would avoid (and I am not being reimbursed by any other company for my opinions). I bought these boots after much "research" of the brand, user reviews, videos, and price comparison of competitors. The boots fit as expected, but were very snug at the toes. This particular model of boot left me feeling as if I was walking barefoot on concrete. There was no cushioning on my feet, it left my feet and knees in pain. I found myself angling my feet as I walked to avoid the pinching and shock of no cushioning. My left boot was pinching my pinky toe with the steel toe. It felt as if the left boot was a bit tighter than the right. I did not get an opportunity to see how these would break-in, because by DAY 2 of normal use on finished plywood floors and ladders, the leather started to come apart from the rubber sole (the gaps are more defined while wearing the boot, but could not get the picture while wearing them). These boots did not touch any chemicals, concrete, mud, or steam. Just some light snow in and out of the building. I have worn Timberland Pro boots for 9 years prior to this and took a chance with Ariat and was very much dissatisfied. Maybe I got a bad pair, maybe the higher grade models are better? All I know is I will never buy Ariat again. Do your feet a favor and try on a pair of Timberland Pros before you decide on your next pair.
