Blessed relief for my feet
I am extremely happy with this ankle boot. I had been looking for a black stylish boot, low heeled but not ugly and chunky. For 3 months, I combed shoestores, online sites, stopped people on the street, etc.My friend was going to the stable and showed me these, her paddock boots. Eureka!I have troublesome feet and most shoes hurt. I got these in a 7.5w and they fit like a dream. They look great with jeans and also with dresses. And, I imagine, with horses. What a well kept fashion secret you have!My only problem is w customer service. I mistakenly ordered 2 of this item. Identical. I contacted the seller w/i 15 minutes of ordering and asked them to cancel one order. They said no!! I was shocked that they were just so bluntly unhelpful. I am able to return it but I think they are charging me shipping. So, unhappy with the vendor but love the boot.

I always come back to Ariat! Nothing beats it!
A few months ago Kerrits had their paddock boots on sale. I decided to give them a try instead of my trusty Ariats.I couldn’t take it. So uncomfortable, my toes were sore from the hard tip of the boot, and the ankle was huge. It rubbed me constantly. When I finally replaced them with my old faithfuls I slid my foot into the Ariat paddock boot and was shocked by how big of a difference there is! SO COMFORTABLE! No breaking in. Just immediate relief.Ariat paddock boots ride the best! But just as importantly, they walk like tennis shoes. That’s great news for those of us with worn out feet from years of horse work.I will never stray again.Ariat for life!

Another quality product from Ariat
I bought these in a wide width. I was very concerned that they would not be wide enough for my giant feet, but they worked. They are extremely comfortable boots to wear around the barn because the inner cushion makes them feel closer to tennis shoes, and the arch support is much better than other riding boots (though still not enough if you have very high arches like me). Trying to get them zipped up around my cankles was a bit difficult at first, but now that they have been broken in with a few rides they fit beautifully.

Impressed!
This is my first pair of Ariat boots, purchased as an all-purpose or potentially a travel boot. I normally wear Propet or Clarks, but these were deeply discounted as an open box item from AMZ Warehouse. I am very pleased! I am normally a 6.5 across the board, but only 7 was available so I tried it, given that the toebox looked a little narrow for my duck feet. Although the 6.5 could possibly fit perfectly in length, the 7 is great for me with a thicker sock- in these I have about a half an inch of room to spare. They are excellent quality and comfortable right out of the box. I walk quite a bit (up to 8 miles a day when traveling and approximately 3 miles per day at home) so comfort is critical- as is resistance to the elements and traction. I also need footwear that is light enough that I don't feel like I am carrying weights around my ankles- these fit the bill. They are stylish enough to dress up for the office, or with leggings or a dress, very snazzy! The sole is substantial and the leather is sleek and smooth. They are also easy on/easy off, but as noted the zipper is tight as the ankle area runs snug, so if you have cankles these will probably not work for you (and thus minus one star).I love these so far! I have been wearing them around the house since I opened the box since I don't want to take them off, so I can't wait to test them out in the elements.

These have changed and are now cheap feeling and smaller sized
I have worn Ariat paddock boots for years. My last pair has lasted me 11 years with heavy riding/walking around the barn. The leather was starting to crack so I ordered a new pair, thinking they would be the exact same. Nope. These are super cheap feeling and fit at least a size smaller. They seem like a cheap imported product yet are still the same price. If I wanted a cheap imported riding boot I would have ordered one of the inexpensive brands.Shame on you, Ariat. I have never used the word "cheap" so many times in a review.

Perfect fit and comfy
I wear thin socks so this was true to size, but if you wear thick socks you may want to go up a 1/2 size. The leather will stretch out over time so be aware it should fit snug. I’ve worn Ariat paddock boots for decades and these are working great. Breaks in fast and very comfy with good support.
