Feet not hurting after traveling different urban areas in Europe.
This is my second pair of Ariat boots. I purchased these because my wife wanted to do photos and I wanted a good pair of brown boots that I could just slip on that goes well with jeans. I bought these about 90 days ago and have worn them everyday since purchasing. These boots are great. I currently live in the Netherlands and November through January the coldest tempatures average in the 30s and my feet are very warm to hot. I don't recommend wearing these in warmer climates because these boots have zero ventilation due to the water proofing. That being said they are water proof and will stay water proof as long as you take care of them. If the water proofing fails it will be at the seam where the sole is stiched. Condition with some mink oil ( they will darken slightly) and these boots will remain water proof. Comfort is outstanding. I wear combat boots for a living and I wish these were authorized in uniform. I just took a week vacation to Prague and in very urban travel, my feet were the most comfortable part of the trip. Between walking throughout the airports to catching train and bus after bus my feet were very comfortable. A few weeks ago I went to a couple Christmas markets in Cologne, Germany during a very wet rain storm and by the end of the night my feet were still dry and warm. These are great for the money and extremely comfortable. Again if you live somewhere warm and it's going to be dry outside I would consider something with more ventilation but if you're in a cooler/ colder area and want warm feet these are great boots. Sizing was good. I mostly wear size 11 shoes depending on the make and bought 10.5 in these and they fit great. Traction is good but the tread pattern is not that deep so keep that in mind if you're hunting or it's raining and you're out in the field. Overall these are really great boots.

Great boots, pure craftsmanship but needed 1/2 size smaller
I initially ordered my true size but my heel slid and the boots didn't hug my feet the way are supposed to. Ordered 1/2 size smaller and they fit perfectly. Nice snug fit all around without being overwhelming. They will take some time to break in but they are comfortable enough to easily wear for a few hours at a time.I break in with Merino Wool socks and find the boots much easier to put on and take off. Don't use tube socks unless you want the boots stuck on good.All in all, these boots are very well made, have no hot spots, look very nice and are rather comfortable during break-in. I think I will still be wearing these in 10 years.Cheers

Great boot.
Excellent boot. Wearing very well and I am tough on footwear. Using mainly for motorcycle riding. So far my feet are dry even when raining. Very comfortable. If there is a drawback it would be they don’t breathe, but they are waterproof. I would recommend these to anyone who wants a quality boot. I can see farmers and ranchers purchasing this boot. It’s nice looking but it’s not for Sunday.

Love the boots!
Great boot and very comfortable right out of the box. They are true to size which is nice. I almost never get to buy a 10 1/2 EE which is my natural size, and these fit like a glove. Had them vFor about 2 weeks and they are almost all I wear now-unless I have shorts on :). Highly recommend these boots and ariat in general.

Perfect boots for a variety of activities.
Great boots. It took a bit of trail and error to find the perfect fit, so thank goodness for Amazon's return policy. I normally wear a 10.5D shoe. After reading numerous reviews on several sites, I went down a half size and ordered a 10D. But the width turned out to be so narrow I couldn't get my foot into the boot. 10E was the perfect width but I had too much heel slippage. So I tried a 9.5E, one size smaller and and a width wider than my normal size. This was the Goldilocks pair--just right. I wear these pre- and apre-ski. Great traction on slush, ice, mud and everything else you come across in a ski town. Water proofing was a must and these deliver. And despite the non-skid sole, they still do well two-stepping. They also are perfect for trail riding, mucking out stalls, and any other crud related activity. So despite the challenge of fitting the right fit, the effort was surely worth it. Added benefit: the 9.5E was $50 cheaper than my normal size, so there's that, too.
