While I would never describe these as "hiking boots" due to the lack of deep tread on the sole, they are typical Ariat quality: very comfortable, attractive and well made. Waterproof enough to wear in wet conditions and light snow. Indispensable around the barn yet look great with jeans and casual wear. Sizing chart is accurate, perhaps a little generous, but that leaves room for wearing midweight boot socks.

These are my favorite barn/riding boots. I wear a man's EE and this is the only place to find my size. The waterproof Terrains really hold up to daily barn wear. Through mud and muck, these boot last. The soles are thick enough that you don't feel every little bit of gravel as you do in the thin soled traditional paddock boots. The tread on the bottem is just right for riding and hiking. These are comfortable all day long. There are matching half chaps too. I have three pair now. On the oldest pair the leather on the side by my little toe has cracked after many years of abuse. My second pair are a women's B width and are just too tight for all day wear. This new pair fits great. So nice to find the wide size!
Great hiking and work boot but has to be broken in. A little tough in the beginning, then there good to go! Definitely waterproof and pure leather.
Comfortable, looks great with Dockers khaki slacks, fits well…
