Best Boots Made, and Most Comfortable...
This is my second pair of Ariat Work Hog Boots...not because the first ones needed replacing, they are still in fantastic shape after a year of heavy use. No, I simply wanted a black pair for variety, my other pair is brown. I wear a size 14, and until I found Ariat, was not really able to wear a western boot...my whole life I have tries several brands and styles and they always end up hurting the arch in my feet or my toes in some way...just never found anything that would fit right...I had actually given up on boots until one day in the airport security line, the guy in front of me had a pair of nice looking boots on that looked like they would be extremely comfortable...I started a conversation, and he spoke very highly of Ariat and indicated he had also had trouble finding boots...the next day I went to a local western store that carried them...I tried a pair on and being cautious after wasting so much money in the past, I wore them around the store for an hour. I bit the bullet and made the purchase...here I am buying another pair. This pair has a steel toe which I didn't intend to buy, and it was not in the Amazon on-line description...I was intentionally staying away from steel toes because I was afraid that it would cut down on the toe room, my first pair did not have a steel toe and was perfect. Well, I tried them on and to my relief, there was plenty of toe room...the front of the boot is a little taller than the non steel toe to allow for the same toe room. The black leather lower has a beautiful leather grain, and the thread colors in the upper are outstanding. Now I am glad they are steel toe as that gives me a little more protection. I'll say it now...Ariat is the only boot I will buy...they are great looking, well made, and last a long time. Thank you Amazon and Ariat!

Amazing Work Boots
Wow is all I can say. I have the Cottonwood, Ground Breaker and these. I don't need a saftey toe for work. These are not water proof! But cover the electrical hazard and won't Peter out using a shovel. These have the performance insole and the others have the high energy. I have to say right out of the box the most comfortable work boot ever. After a few days of 85 I can say the Ventek is about 15% cooler. These boots are amazing. Comfortable on concrete and dirt all day long. They fit me true to ariat size 12D. Don't sleep on these or your feet will hate you. I'll have many more pair as the others and these wear out.

These boots fit very well out of the box and even better after wearing them several times. They look fantastic too! The looks are so nice that I've been wearing them as my nice shoes. The tread does not mark my floors inside and sticks to the ground outside very well. I have only owned them for a couple of months so I cannot comment on longevity, but they feel like they are well made, and with proper care, will last for a long time.

Love the feel! Sole wears quickly.
Great fitting boot! Feels wonderful on my feet. My only complaint is how quickly the sole seem to fall apart. The different colored parts just fall off and the rubber isn't as durable as i would expect for such a pricy boot. Oh and they do look great!
