These are REALLY Nice boots!

I was looking for a dress boot and these fit the bill perfectly. Comfortable as soon as I put them on. I will probably replace the foot bed with a Superfeet footbed as I do in all my shoes. The one they came with is nice and cushiony but not enough arch for me. Obviously a very quality product. Beautiful leather. So much lace that you can wrap them once around your ankle before tying. I am 5'10", 160 lbs and wear a size 10.

Beautiful boot, just doesn’t fit my super high instep

I’ve been on the hunt for a new paddock boot for a bit and decided to go with Arial. I wear women’s 9 in as wide as I can get it, a C width in Ariel’s case. They fit well but the slightly pointier toe (important for getting into stirrups quickly) made the toe box a close fit, especially over my very high instep. I really needed an extra wide (D width), so I decided to try men’s boots which run wider in the first place. Well, fit in the foot is indeed a little better. However, interestingly, the height over the instep is lower than it is for comparable women’s sizing. I also tried a half size up, but same issue with the instep. That’s the only reason I deducted one star - the height on the instep. Otherwise, this is a beautiful boot that is very well made. I have always loved the resilient soles and these boots continue to shine in that regard. So, while these are being returned, I’m keeping the ones I ordered in women’s 9C - toe box is similar but they’ve got just enough additional height in the instep to be comfortable instead of putting constant pressure on the top of my foot.
