Amazing boots
I finally replaced my work boots that were worn down by all the stone and concrete I work with frequently. This boots are bit over-sized (I'd say extra sock) from what I expected. These boots also need a decent break-in period. As higher top boots this is especially true since they flex less by design. Until they break in, your heel might rub against the area where the upper joins the heel region seam. For me, I lashed the lashes along the angle and kept snugging that down as wore them in. Once the leather starts to form-fit and soften bit the fit is nice. The sole is extremely comfortable and the stitching does not make any hard spots inside the boot. I enjoy wearing and can easily put in 10-12 hours of work. Again, these are work boots not hiking boots, so be cognizant of that as the break-in is different.

They work for me!
I really like them for the money. Very comfortable with little to no break in. I am a welder/fabricator and mechanic, I'm hard on boots. So far, after wearing them at work for a few months, they are holding up well.

Good choice
Quality was really comfortable. Wide fit is an actual wide for once. Not a lightweight boot, but definitely waterproof. It’s a little expensive but quality is worth it if you’re in the market for it.

Excellent product
Super durable and excellent quality. These boots have solid foot and ankle support but also have a foot bed that is soft.

Cheaply made. Not waterproof
Absolute WORST pair of ariars I’ve ever bought. Lash pair were the best I’ve ever had but for some reason these ones just fell apart on me instantly. We’re never waterproof. Sadly was not allowed to exchange. Would only let me return but I can’t give up my work boots without a new pair to use. Very disappointing and will be trying a new brand

Great Boots, But Not for Bigger Calvesson
Ariat is an awesome company, and their boots are usually top-notch—I’ve owned several pairs and never had an issue. However, this was my first time trying a lace-up style from them, and I quickly realized these are definitely designed for someone with thinner calves.I did the 7-day try-before-you-buy, and there was just no way to get these tied up comfortably. If you have larger calves, be aware these may not fit well. That being said, the quality is still solid, as expected from Ariat, but the fit just didn’t work for me.If you’ve got slimmer legs, I’m sure they’d be great—but for me, it was a no-go.
