Wonky sizes that don’t make sense.

The sizing for these shoes makes zero sense. I ordered my son a size 9 and it was too big so I ordered him a size 6 and they are three times the size of the size 9. I don’t know why Ariat doesn’t just size their kids shoes the same way every other company does instead of calling everything big kids and providing a size chart that is completely useless. I even used the size chart and a measuring tape to check which size would fit him and the actual shoe sizes are still all over the place. Save yourself the frustration and definitely buy these shoes at a store where they can be tried on.
