Day 1 and I’m already impressed
I really wasn’t sure what to expect. My last two pairs of boots have been Ariat and overall I’ve found them comfortable, long-lasting, and well-fitting... after a break-in period. Like most boots. Which is miserable! Getting boots to form to your feet (hurting your teeth and bearing through the discomfort, wetting them down multiple times, etc) is no picnic, but it’s worth it once it has been done. But those were regular boots, one pair of square toed with roper heels, one pair with slightly tapered toes ending in a small square, with a riding heel. I still wear both, FYI. Haven’t worn either out yet.But, I’ve never had Fat Baby boots. Depending on the shoe, I wear anything from 10-11, often 10.5 in sneakers and hiking boots, but usually 10 in riding boots. Recently bought a pair of Ariat slip-ons that are very cute and comfortable too! These boots were no exception, but the biggest bonus right out of the box is that they were comfortable!! I wore them for driving and walking around and they already felt like they fit. This is just day one, so time will tell, but so far they fit, they feel good, and they’re cute too. I even feel like I would be comfortable working on my feet in them all day, even sorting cattle in an alley or working them through a chute, and that I’d feel stable on my feet while doing it, without the heels throwing me off. That’s something I can’t say of most boots, even the ones I love.I also thought they might look clunky on my big feet but not so, they’re really nice. Really happy I decided to finally give this style a try!!

Love these boots
Love these boots! I am a big fan of Ariat boots in general and have always found them to be good quality. These boots are no exception. They have a nice wide toe box which I find a must in any shoes. They are a little clunky looking as they are chunkier than a lot of my other western boots, but it’s not a bad look. I totally recommend these. They fit well and I would say they are true to size.

Obsessed
Only had these for a couple of days but I am obsessed! I decided not to size up as I always do for Ariat just to see how these would fit. All boots are not the same. A little snug on my wife feet but it is not uncomfortable and they will get better with time. Arch support is amazing the style is really cool they aren’t all the way up the calf so they fit my big calves very well. I feel like even if they did go higher like my other boots they would still fit perfectly up my calves. I can wear skinny jeans with them which is a plus! Feet stayed warm yesterday it was kinda cool with all the rain we had. I will keep buying these as long as they are available. Haven’t gotten to see how these venttek works yet but I’ve got all summer.

True to size - learn from my mistakes.
I wear a 7.5 shoe for most brands/styles, but I ordered up a half size just in case I might prefer a looser fit for jeans or larger socks. I'm returning the boots, but only to re-order them true to size. Even in their too-large state, they are stylish and comfortable. There was a momentary temptation to keep them in the wrong size just so I woldn't have to wait for their correctly sized replacements. My only note is that the toe box - even in this larger size - felt slightly snug on the first wear. However, as is always the case with leather, I expect that to sort itself out with continued use. I would recommend these boots for style, comfort, price point. I'm looking forward to wearing them in the correct size and, if you never see an update from me, I continued to love them at the true size.

Well made boots...
I bought size 8.5 in red. The boots look and feel well made, outside and inside, the leather is soft enough.I bought them for ankle support after an ankle fracture. And they'll do the support job...As for the size: I have enough room at the toe; the width could be a little more, ie I cannot wear real thick socks which I had hoped for.I wore them in the house for a few days so they could stretch a little.Have worn them outside twice now and they are comfortable.Can safely recommend them; maybe order larger size, depending.

I will write a review for those who are not familiar with the American size. I have a foot length - 25 cm. The width of the foot at its widest point is 13 cm. I ordered a size of 8.5B. The boots fit the length of the foot well, especially if you want to wear a thick sock. There is free space for a thick sock, about 5 millimeters. My back of the heel was quite narrow for these boots, the heel slides up and down when walking. Therefore, I will use stickers to reduce the width of the heel of the boots. Boots are stitched qualitatively, but the sole is quite simple - from micropores. Micropore rather quickly rumpled or erased. But I'm still glad, these are nice and beautiful boots. I do not like to wear thick winter socks and next time I will order size 8B. I think for a foot length of 25 cm this size will be better.Thanks to Amazon for a very fast (though not very budget :))) international delivery to my home. I am very pleased and this is cool shoes, comfortable for the arch of the foot and beautiful.All good shopping and good mood!))
