Worn At Work Everyday For The Past 6 Months And LOVE THEM!!

People that will like and appreciate these safety shoes are women who are used to wearing safety shoes, who want a dressy pair that is fully-functional within an industrial environment. I have worn Red Wing steel toe and composite boots, and I am used to the stiffness that comes with a well-made safety boot. That being said, when I bought these, I saw people who left reviews on Ariat and other websites, saying that these shoes are not comfortable. I love my Ariat Safety clogs, and I have been wearing them every day for the past 6 months. There is no "breaking in" these shoes--they retain their shape and structure, and are as comfortable as a safety shoe can be, without compromising those elements of the shoe that make them worthwhile, like their water-resistant capability. I have walked through so many puddles in these shoes with the Florida rains we get, and I have never, not once, soaked my socks! I wasn't working in deep water--but the water resistance for casual changes in weather? These shoes are excellent. I work in a manufacturing facility where I can encounter oil residuals, and the non-slip capability of these shoes have saved me from potential slip and falls on more than one occasion, when I have seen others without them lose traction from time to time. The electrical resistance is also an added benefit to these. I would say these shoes will fit like your typical construction boot without the added weight of a steel toe, but have the elegance of a professional dress shoe and benefits of being a safety shoe. If you hate, or aren't used to how construction boots fit--then you might not like the fit of these shoes. Like I said, they hold their structure-- which is a good thing for a safety shoe; there is no "breaking" these in. As someone used to the fit of a construction boot, I find them to be very comfortable, and wear them every day. It is now Sunday, and I am even wearing them out today, because they are so comfy! (Lots of walking in the mall planned for today...😊) So if you sound like someone like me, who will appreciate these--definitely go for it and buy them!😁👍

Superb on my sore ankles, incredible balance

I wear slip-on steel toe shoes for everyday care of my horses & dogs, so I can run out the door in a hurry if necessary. The extra weight at the toe started making my ankles sore as I get older. I thought maybe comfortable shoes with a composite toe would work better and be lighter, be easier on my ankles, and I like Ariat very much for fit and comfort. When these shoes arrived, I thought I would be disappointed; holding the shoes, the toes still had substantial weight. However, to my surprise and delight, these shoes are balanced shockingly well! As I walk, I cannot feel the extra weight in the toe. I didn't know that was possible. I thought the raised heel would make the toe feel heavier, even. It's simply the perfect design. These shoes are the best, most easy to walk in slip-on shoes I have ever had. Fantastic!I typically wear a 9.5 or 10 in Ariats. These are size 10, and it's just right. My sister tried them, and even with the wrong size, she also felt the superb balance. We've ordered her a pair of size 8s.

Very comfortable. I wear an 8

By far THE most uncomfortable shoes I have ever owned! I've had these 3 weeks and paid $130. for them. I bought inserts, and went thru an entire box of bandaids. Feet are one big blister from heal to toe! Had to go buy a different pair at lunch today at shoe carnival because I knew I couldn't make it til the end of my shift!

Looks good with dress pants

I needed a safety toe shoe when I go on the pant floors but they had to look good with dress pants. I tried the Ariat Safety Clog composite toe and the Ariat Safety clog steel toe. The Expert safety clog has a boxer foot bed and is considerably lighter than the steel toe. This shoe runs large. The size 7 was identical in length to the steel toe in 7.5. Be sure to order a half size down! The Aritat steel toe has a sleeker look when wearing with dress slacks but the heaviness of the shoe did not make it a practical choice for me. The expert safety clog is very comfortable, keeps my feet warm and is not heavy.

Very hard soles

These shoes are so nice, fit perfectly from day one. They're so uncomfortable for all day wear. My feet are incredibly sore and ache after wearing all day.

Cheap knock off

I have had 4 pairs of Ariat work clogs over the last 12 years. These are NOT Ariats. They are enormously wide, the footbed is different, the whole build and materials are different, and they are too long (in the size I have always worn). Beware. Fraudulent.
