Good fit. Good support. Comfortable. Nice looking riding/paddock boot.
I’m a size 9B. The boots fit perfectly. They don’t pinch or rub anywhere. Good support and fit around the ankle. They have a nice sculpted, cushioned insole that cradles your heel perfectly. Roomy, sturdy toebox. (I can wiggle my toes) There is just the right amount of padding at the top, with thick, sturdy elastic gussets in the back so that the boot doesn’t chafe around the top when you bend your ankle. If you’re trying to decide between this boot and the less expensive Ariat “Scout”, the leather on this boot is of better quality (will polish up better, and looks like it will hold up better) and this boot has one more set of eyelet hooks in the ankle area than the “Scout” does. It makes for a better fit and less wobble. The boot is sturdier, better looking, and worth the added expense over the less expensive “Scout”. Like any other leather product, it might take a few rides to break them in to your exact liking.

Darn good shoe
Anytime I slip on an Ariot shoe, I’m confident in my steps. They’re a tough shoe made well. Good arch support. This model is great with calf length skirts or dresses.

Best boots ever
I have bought multiple pairs of these boots. I live in them. They're exceptionally comfortable. I've used them in the barn, for riding, and for work. I can't count how many trips around the riding ring these things have made while I teach. They're not just for the barn, they look great under dress pants and they're amazingly comfortable. I buy one pair a year and wear them CONSTANTLY. They're comfortable to drive in. I wear them to work, I wear them to ride, and if I'm showing saddleseat on Sunday, I just break out the polish because these things will SHINE with a little polish and some elbow grease. Ariat has never let me down. I won't even look for another paddock boot again. These soles don't slip on an oil-soaked garage floor (I work in a car dealership) and they clean up very nicely with saddle soap and polish. I usually get about a year out of a pair, but I wear these EVERY SINGLE DAY for about 12 hours a day. These boots work as hard as I do. My boots get many, many miles on them and I am more than happy to replace them as I kick the crap out of them. This is the only pair of shoes I buy. You will not be disappointed.

Super comfortable and very versatile boots. Wore first pair for 2-3 years, just purchased a spiffy new pair. First pair has held up great, they only need replaced due to my butthead cat scratching them up. Keeping for work boots, still awesome! Strings are super strong no cracking leather or broken seams, none of that. Never had to glue the soles or anything, and I've worn the heck out of them.

Ariat Paddock Boots
Initially purchased with Amazon Try Before You Buy. I ordered a size 8 which fit, however, I opted to trade up to 81/2 because of a previous broken ankle and just felt that the bigger size might be most comfortable. I am very happy with my purchase and I have worn the boots with no break in period. My feet feel supported, boots fit well, and because of lacing they can be tightened or loosened to individual preference. Can be used as dressier boots or worn in the paddock and gotten dirty. I think they should hold up well.

Brand new garbage
These boots are not in a condition to be worn. I have never worn these boots. The tags are still intact and you can see from the soles they have never been worn. I recommend checking these boots thoroughly when you get them. I see other people have had similar experiences with them. Be careful purchasing these on Amazon. I would recommend buying them directly from the store. My Rockport boots are 10 years old and still going strong. I just wanted a fresh work boot. I don’t even know what to do with these boots. They are garbage. I’m not even sure if I’d give them to a homeless person. Cheap boot cheap leather. One star is too much for these boots.
