I wanted a good pair of boots that were not just fashionable but functional/comfortable. Like I could wear them with a dress but then go out and feed the cows too. These feel like the perfect balance between both worlds. I have diabetic neuropathy issues with my feet so I got the wide and they fit perfect!
Admittedly I was surprised. I fully expected I would need to return these boots to purchase a pair that comes in a wider width. They went on easier than any of my broken in boots, and I could even remove them without a bootjack - yet the ankle support is excellent.This is my first pair of Ariat boots and the built in cushioned insoles was a surprise - I just wore them around the house for past two hours and they are super comfy. I even had on heavier wool socks to see how my feet would do - as I live in the midwest and it's cold whether in the arena or outside when riding. From now on I will be looking at Ariat brand boots first when I need or want another pair.
