My daughter is training a steer for FFA and she is constantly in the fields trying to get her cow to move. These boots have protected her toes on several occassions as Steer has stepped in the wrong direction. So grateful for the protection! And they are super cute in a simple way. The quality is superb and very comfortable. After a few weeks, they are formed to her foot.
GREAT boots. Surprisingly comfortable, durable, look and feel great. However they do fit a little large, but that's to be expected with a safety toe. They look large and bulky, but with smaller women's feet this is also to be expected with a safety toe. Love them, will be buying a soft toe version when my catapillar wellingtons wear out (also a fantastic work boot, especially for women, because they come in a size as small as a men's 6!)
I use these as my all-purpose boot on a horse farm. Easy to pull on to go outside and do whatever. Because of the reinforced toe, they took a little getting used to after years of wearing the Fat Baby style boots. And definitely took a couple weeks of breaking in with the stiffer leather over the whole boot and softening up where the reinforced toe ends. Was a little worried at first that they wouldn’t work out. They are surprisingly light weight, which is great, and they are really comfortable for long periods of wear. I ultimately opted for these to replace my old Ariats because they have a much better tread and sole than the Fat Baby style, and that was what I really needed - good tread. Haven’t slipped in them once. So far, they are worth the investment. These are true to size or run just slightly big. I am 8-8.5 in boots and for regular weight socks, these are comfortable as an 8.
Wife is a big fan of Ariat boots. She has her last pair for 10 years so I bought her another pair and once again she is happy
These are really cute, but the my heels are swimming in them. I tried the thickest socks I own, and they were still way too wide. The length is fine, so sizing down isn't an option.
not exactly water resistant, but they’re so comfortable and break pretty fast! first two days they were hard but they’ve become so soft and i can work without feeling my foot heavy. (they are in fact steel toe btw)
I wear steel toe and composite toe boots and shoes daily, have for many years. I have had cheapos for walmart that lasted for months and expensive brand names that lasted less that that. that being said this is my second pair of Ariat composite toe boots. I read the reviews before a bought them and even got the mink oil to treat them. These look and feel great out of the box, fit well, width of the foot is great for me, height and width of the boot shaft is good too. Like any boot I've had I simply don't like the insoles so I replace them with cheap cvs dr sholes every couple months. Only complaint I have is the color of the stitching... oh well not really a complaint maybe more of a hey Ariat throw in some purple on your boots lol.
