Beautiful boots as always

Just received these boots today. They are a beautiful color. I wear 9.5 to 10 size shoes. I have another pair of Ariats in 9.5 that fit well, so I ordered these in 9.5. They are a tiny bit snug, but I'm pretty certain that they'll be an awesome fit once broken in and the leather starts to soften up. I live in AZ, so thick socks aren't needed, so I wear the thin athletic ones.. If they were, I would say size up one more size. But these are super nice boots. :)Update:1 month later and these boots have quickly become a favorite of mine. After a couple of days they broke in beautifully. I took them on a trip back home and even my mom wanted me to "accidentally" leave them at her house so that she could have them. Speaking of which my mom also wears a 9.5 to a 10 and has wide feet. She tried them on and loved them instantly. She said they fit her feet well with no pinching.

Boots seemed perfect

Boots seemed perfect, very comfy and not too heavy. My problem is my calves are 12 inch circumference and there was still a big gap. I returned them, went to a Boot Barn but still couldn't find any that were small enough circumference so definitely my own problem but I wish these had fit.

NIce, but not the same as they used to make them

I had a pair of these for years that wore out and needed a new pair. I wear 8.5 to 9 depending on sizing. These do run large as I can wear a size 8.5 and still have room for a thick cushioned memory foam insole. These look and are cut the same as they used to make them. But over 5 to 6 years ago, I was able to find these at a local Farm & Fleet. Now they no longer carry these, so I had to order online and was unhappy: the leather seems to have gone the same way many boot manufacturers have gone, and is thinner, cheaper, shows signs of creasing and wrinkling more readily (like almost instantly), and is not as thick and sturdy as it used to be.The shafts and foot on my old pair lasted many years without showing creases or any visible signs of wear, the leather was thick and sturdy cowhide.Now the leather is thinner, glued to the fabric lining that is cushy, giving it the look of thick leather, without the thicker sturdier leather to back it up; and the shaft and foot creased on first trying on. The shaft really shows creasing a lot now. Not so on the old pair that lasted for years.So while I really like the basic style: especially the not too wide shaft - which is really helpful in cold and increment weather not to have everything blowing right into your boots!The overall basic round toe style that is a real round toe - not elongated and too pointy, but with plenty of toe room, without being too wide and bulbously ridiculous looking like some brands...I still appreciate these qualities of this boot.But am really disappointed in the fact that the leather used to make these has been cheapened, and is thinner and does not wear or last like the older ones that were made over 5 to 6 years ago, is thinner and less sturdy, shows signs of wear, creasing wrinkling and is just not the same as they used to make them. Sorry to say.
