These boots are awesome! I now have the coolest boots on site. Everyone calls me "Gator" now which I can't stand because I am not a Florida fan. The only thing worst than Florida fans are Florida State fans which have actually calmed downed some now since that crab leg stealing, white girl raping, F@#$ her in the P*$@# shouting QB is gone but enough about that. The boots are really comfortable providing cushion in the ball and heel of the boot. The composite toe is light weight and provides protection to my little piggies. If you are looking for ankle support then rethink your choice of boot, a pull on boot will never give you the support you are looking. Try a lace up boot or an AA meeting both provide excellent support. As for warmth I am guessing that they will not be that warm considering the single layer leather construction. These boots will never be as warm as a cheap hooker on a cold night, but with these boots you will be pimpin'.

From a rancher’s point of view
Alright, I’ve been wearing these here boots for quite some time. I’ve purchased them at least 4 times over the years. I wear them everyday, 7 days a week while working on my ranch here in South Texas. I put a LOT of miles on em. They are the best daily wear work boots for ranchin, hands down. They are excellent in the occasional rain and mud and keep my feet warm in the winter and not too dang hot in the summer. They are indeed waterproof for movin about, but I do slip on some muck boots for when the water gets too high. The carbon toe is perfect for when a piece of equipment drops on your foot or when in close proximity to cattle in a pen and they misstep onto your dang foot. It happens. They are easy to get on and off. I usually replace the foot bed every 6 months to keep em feelin fresh and new. I can’t tell you how well they clean up, since I don’t clean em. Eventually everything dries up and falls off. Don’t judge! The soles last a pretty good amount of time, but like everything else they get worn down eventually. I’ve worn em in flood waters (actual water, not pants that are too short…well, maybe some of those too), puttin out wild fires, in dust storms, and thunderstorms. It just don’t matter, these are my boots of choice for real cowhand workin.

Will last over one year
This is my third pair of these. I wear them at work. Not the best if you need to walk quickly alot or hike a ton. Pretty comfortable. They have a liner, so they can get too hot in the summer. The liner is also the part that failed on my first pair. The inner and outer layers separated, and locked my foot in, but that was after wearing them daily for over a year. I still have my second pair, i tried 1/2 a size smaller to see if that would make them better for heavy walking but that didnt fix it. So my second pair are a little small but i still wear them. They look good enough to wear outside of work. Good traction.

Worse than horrible
These are quite literally the worst boots I have ever bought. Are these factory seconds? Was the person making them rushing through for the weekend? I have been wearing Ariat 9EE boots for the past 12 years and every pair has fit properly except this pair. They are too tight in the heel, which collapses under my foot as I try to pull it on. They are too tight over the arch, causing the amount of force necessary to pull them on. I can literally hear stitches giving way on the pulls. And to make matters worse, it feels like they took a toe cap from a regular width 9 and stuffed it into what's supposed to be a wide square toe. Both my pinky toe and big toe are rubbing simultaneously on the edges of the toe cap. Just adding salt to the wound is the fact that my toes are crammed against the end, even with my heel properly seated.This is the second horrible experience in a row with Ariat work boots, although the previous pair at least fit properly. I'll be movong to a different brand like Twisted X.
