Perfect!
If you've owned Birkenstocks in the past, just buy the same size that has always worked for you. Even though these have additional soft padding, they still fit perfectly, as always. The only difference I see between these and my older Birkenstocks is that the straps on these new ones only have 5 holes instead of 6. However, the straps are still the same length, and the beginning and ending holes seem to be in the same place. It's just that you have one less hole for tightening the strap to the perfect tightness. However, this has not been much of a problem for me.I do love how soft the sole is! Now that the sandals are broken in some, I can definitely feel the difference between these and my older pair of Birkenstocks that don't have this extra cushion.

Perfect footwear, don’t bother with knock offs
These are perfect. I wear an 8.5 wide or 9 and these are a perfect fit. In terms of comfort and fit, it takes a while for the footbed to mold to your feet. The longer you wear them the better they fit.

The comfort I expected

Good fit.
My issue is, I have wide feet. These actually have a nice wide footbed. It's hard to find Birkenstocks in a wide width. These are quite doable for me.
