I bought these after reading a review and so far I'm totally delighted! They are super comfortable and supportive, stay on your feet, but still have that great sandal open feel. I've worn Birkenstocks for years, but unless these break down in some surprising way, I'll never go back. They feel very solidly built so I don't expect any kind of early failures. The soft leather insole is nicely cushioned, the straps are easy to adjust, and the actual sewed on soles looks cool and sturdy. The bottom sole gives good traction and stability outdoors and in. Well designed and well executed. Not to mention a pretty substantial price break from other brands..
