Firm
Great running shoes if you like a firm sole, I personally run 2-3 miles a day sometimes 6 miles and I could not find sneakers that had firm outsoles so I used to run in casual tennis shoes ( no I am not crazy ) I have a weak arch and my feet overpronate so I run my best in extremely firm outsole shoes with minimal insole cushion and a thin upper. Iv never owned ascis running shoes before but after my run today I was impressed! Not extremely firm but firm enough for my liking. These are the best yet for me. True fit also! If you like to put more than one pair of socks on for the cold weather I would suggest going a half size up but besides that true size all the way! Hope this helps someone.

Better than Nimbus
Normally I wear Nimbus, but every year they change their sizing and have gotten more and more expensive and less and less worth it. Finally, I decided to try another ASICS shoe. I have yet to run in them, but at least they fit comfortably. I understand shoes are sourced from different factories and each factory might interpret sizings a bit differently [but honestly there is no excuse for this]. But at over $100 for a pair of shoes, you would expect a minimum level of quality and consistent sizing. I guess I came to the threshold where the high price of the Nimbus was not worth the erratic sizing and lower quality shoe. I'm sure I am not, nor will I be the only one who changes type of shoe because they are simply not worth it anymore.

Great Lightweight Distance trainers
Awesome, finally Asics have returned to a good version of the DS Trainer. They were my favorite shoes until the 21, then they came out with several others, most stores I go to don't even carry Asics any more because of the design changes, but these are finally spot on.DS Trainers are great for under 15 mile training runs and could be used for racers for marathons and longer, if you want something that is light. You'll give a little up in support for the lightness, and your feet and legs will need to get used to it. But overall a great shoe if you want to truly wear a light, fast-feeling shoe.

Great shoes! Love them. It’s my second pair
Pros:This is my second one! Love these shoes. They fit right, great support, and look great! I can wear it when I travel and it’s stylish...then use it to work out.Cons:The previous pair ended up failing on me. However, I was using it so much, so it’s understandable...but it took 4 months to get to that level as opposed to 6 months. I was using it for walking, running, working out and pretty much walking almost 13,000 a day on average.Once more, that’s a lot of usage, so I can’t complain. Because it’s padding is low, it didn’t last as much I wanted it to.

too big
I love Asics running shoes. I try other brands now and then, but always come back to Asics, they're just more comfortable. I really like these mesh-style ones. Very comfortable as far as materials, but they were just a lot looser than the regular styles. On downhills I can fit 2 fingers behind my heel, which is kind of a bummer because I really like them, I just wish I'd known so I could've gotten down a size or 2.

Perfect for slight Overpronation
I guess everybody tried to start running during the lockdowns just to get out of the house. So in order to do it right, I contacted my physical therapist in Germany and checked back if these are right for me and got video advice for the right running technique.I would consider myself not as well trained, but i can increase my running distance now much faster. I run every second day about 3 3/4 miles and increase about a 1/4 mile every week without ANY pain! I'm in awe <3

Responsive lightweight shoe.
I have been running in the Asics Trainer for several years. The primary thing to consider is that this shoe is lightweight and is very responsive. If you want to run at a faster pace, this is a great shoe. The drawback is that the shoe can feel stiff, which doesn't matter to me, and there is not as much support as you would get in a heavier shoe. I see it as a tradeoff. The shoe may not be for everyone, but I love it.
