Most comfortable and affordable sneakers around

This is my third pair of Asana. I love these shoes and find Asics to be the most comfortable and affordable sneakers. After trying the Asana 2 I was hooked. I love the 2, 3 and now the 4. They fit like a glove with the built in sock style. They also save me time since I can slip them on and off without retying them. Very convenient. They are not the cutest sneakers around but they are nice enough, super comfortable and definitely not ugly. I have large long feet and they fit great although I buy half a size larger than in other sneakers and a full size up from dress shoes. I wear these for cardio and weightlifting as well as long walking trips like Disneyland, and everyday use. I am fully satisfied with these shoes and hope they never stop selling them.

Very narrow shoe

Just got my shoes today and tried them on and they are very narrow and that is coming from someone who has narrow feet. These don't have any tongue or way to loosen them to slip on as the laces are just there to make it more secure....so these shoes are basically slip on shoes.Shoes feel nice once you get them on start walking around, but even then they hug every part of your foot with no wiggle room and have no tread on the bottom so wouldn't recommend for winter months as if you change surfaces you'll be likely to slip. But a good travel shoe to just run errands, lift weights or a road trip.I got these for a fantastic deal and got fast delivery and nice color combo so not disappointed with the purchase at all. But I would not pay full price for these shoes and I wouldn't by these again just because of how narrow they are.

Fits like a glove!

I saw other reviews talking about how these shoes are more arrow than the 3. I never did try the 3, but I LOVE the fit of the 4! I can and do wear standard medium-width shoes, but my feet have always been on the narrow side, so these 4s are just perfect for me. Come to think of it, I've always loved how Asics shoes fit me, even in other styles, because they contour my feet so well. But back to the review, there is enough room in the toe box to accommodate swelling when you're active. Just remember to order 1/2 size up from your street shoe size, that is important and should be the case no matter what athletic shoes you buy. Also, I am wearing thin socks with the 4, and that is enough. I hope this helps!

Slippery sole; pull-on design

The product is okay. I found the sole too slippery for aerobics or even cross-training on a mat. I use them now for weight lifting. I am on the fence about the no-tongue design. On the one-hand I love that there isn't a tongue that ends up on the left or right of the shoe all the time, and there are no long laces; on the other hand, they are a bit difficult to pull on...and if the loop at the heel ever gave out, I don't know how you would wear them. Love the grey andpink colors; cushioning is pretty good as well.

NOT like gel-fit Sana 3s

My Sana 3s are getting beaten up, and I was happy to find a few new color combos with the 4s—unfortunately, they are like COMPLETELY different shoes! These are super narrow—so narrow i can barely get my feet in (and I have average width feet). They also fit SUPER tight and dig in at the heels—my guess is I’d have to go up 1/2 size from my normal size 7s, but for me they’re just not worth the exchange. I have LOVED my Sana 3s because they are so comfortable—I’ve literally gone from HIIT workouts, to weight lifting, to walking a full day at Disney in them. But these are not even close to comparable. Definitely returning!

Initial tight fit resolves to glove-like accomodation

I bought these shoes to wear when I use our elliptical because I wanted a more flexible shoe. My toes no longer go numb by the end of my 45 minute workout. The “tongueless” design was a surprise, but welcome. Initially, the opening for my foot was tighter than I expected, but after two weeks of nearly daily use, that has stretched enough so that it is easier to don them. (I would not buy these if you do not have decent arm and hand strength as the initial donning required quite a bit of tugging!)After using and liking these shoes for about a month, I bought a second pair in order to avoid that regret that comes when a beloved pair wears out and the style is no longer available!

No tongue it's all one piece that is not adjustable

this shoe has no tongue its a fitted "sleave" you foot goes in but it felt WAY too tight over the top of my foot. I do not have wide feet but I do have a somewhat high arch. This is the first time I have ever had to return a pair of Asics. They are my favorite brand as they have size 11.5.
