Love Gel-Nimbus Shoes for running!
This is my second pair of Gel-Nimbus running shoes. I finally had to retire my Gel-Nimbus 18 pair after wearing them out. They were the most comfortable pair of running shoes I ever owned so switching to a different style was sad. The 20 isn't quite as comfortable as the 18 but is still a great running shoe once you add an insole for a little bit more cushioning. I primarily only do road-running so the pavement can be brutal. I really love the colors of this pair as well. The gray and pink look great as a running shoe or as an everyday shoe. I'm not really into the neon colors that are often the only options for running shoes.I ordered a half size up and it was the perfect fit.I would purchase these again and will continue purchasing Gel-Nimbus shoes for running.

Great for retail or anyone on their feet for a long time
Great vibrant colors! I have plantar fasciitis and work on my feet in retail. Needless to say, my shoes are IMPORTANT! I love GEL-Nimbus. On my 3rd pair of this brand. The model keeps getting better. Last kind I had was the Nimbus 18. Didn’t think they could get better. They did!Worth the money and worth the upgrade. I’ve read a lot about the Nimbus vs other shoe models, and the Nimbus is the best I’ve found of any shoe, not just the ASICS brand. If you’re wondering about the Cumulus vs the Nimbus, here’s my experience- The ASICS Cumulus 20 has a good amount of cushioning for more comfort, which is fine for walking, sedentary jobs, hanging at the mall, etc., while the Nimbus 20 is better for arch support, cross training, standing/ running on your feet all day, waiting tables, etc.I’m a fan of Nimbus for life.Great packaging, fast shipping, brand new.

Upgraded from Nimbus 18 and Pleasantly Satisfied
I wore the Nimbus 18 for years and absolutely loved them. However, as happens to all well-worn shoes, they started to fall apart. I naively thought that I could just re-purchase the same pair, but I couldn't find them for sale in my size anywhere. I saw that the Nimbus 19 and 20 were now available, so I started looking into both. A lot of the reviews on the 20 complained that they did not measure up to the quality of the Nimbus 16 and 18 (smaller toe box, not as comfortable), so I was hesitant to buy these, but I took a risk based on the reviews that said they were comparable (and I really didn't want to start researching any other brands).I bought the Nimbus 20 in the same size as my Nimbus 18, and they fit perfectly. I do notice that the toe box is slightly more narrow than the 18, but it's not something that I've had any issues with since I got them a few weeks ago. The shoe is lighter than the 18, but does not seem to sacrifice cushion/comfort. I'm pleasantly satisfied and relieved that the 20 fit the bill for me!

Relatively cushiony replacement for my Gel Cumulus faves
I had been wearing the Gel Cumulus shoes for years, buying one pair after another when a pair wore out, typically after about a year. I have underpronation, with underside heel pain, and thus need lots of cushioning. The last few pairs of Gel Cumulus shoes haven’t been cushiony enough for about the past 3 or 4 models, and the toeboxes have felt pointed and tight. I decided it was time to try the Nimbus, and I’m glad I did.I have always worn an 8.5 in Asics, and these 8.5s also fit perfectly. The sole felt a little hard at first, similar to the newer Cumuluses, so I wore them around the house for a few hours to be sure about what I was feeling. Within a little while I could tell these are better than the recent Cumuluses, and even the toebox feels a little roomier. The cushioning in the heel, while not being as luxuriously soft as I would like, still feels sufficiently soft and supportive. The cushioning under the toes is fine - not too hard, but not as soft as it should ideally be.I’ve decided to keep these shoes, as they feel good enough to do the job (allowing me to live my daily life without foot pain!), and I do like the navy color scheme too (they coordinate well with dark jeans).

Perfect Fit
Perfect fit. Cool color. ASICS Nimbus and Cumulus are the only sneakers that I buy. With back, knee and feet issues these sneakers are what my foot doctor recommended.

Love these shoes!
I have been a huge fan of Asics Gel Nimbus shoes for several years now. In my opinion, these 20 series shoes are way more comfortable and better fitting than the 19 series. These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn! I have them in several colors and wear them every day. I'm not a runner but enjoy them for everyday and walking. The fit it is great as is the quality. I highly recommend them. (I have not tried the 21 series yet so my high recommendations do not apply to that series since I haven't tried them.)

Better but Still not Good
The fit has improved from the Nimbus 19 but the comfort has not, I own 3 pair of Nimbus 17, they are by far the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned, It really did feel as though you were walking on a cloud, the 18 is comfortable as well just not as much as the 17 then we get to the 19, Sucks!!!! Too small and narrow, and not enough cushion for anything. Now the 20 they said the fit had been improved upon and it has been, it does fit better but the sole is just stiff and hard, still not enough cushion, I have horrible feet issues and my feet hurt really bad, these used to be the only shoe i Could wear all day with out my feet just killing me but they have to always mess with and tweak, so i will be sending these back and probably wont be purchasing these again.
