These shoes are just what I needed. Super comfortable and really do fit my feet like a glove
I randomly found a pair of Asics shoes like 8 years ago when I was in New Zealand looking for some good reliable street or trail shoes that I could wear anywhere including hiking up mountains and those Asics shoes were AWESOME and lasted me several years.I recently was looking for a new pair of everyday walking shoes that I could occasionally run in too and tried all the brands New Balance, Hoka, Saucony, Brooks etc and did find solid pairs from all those brands, but these Asics were more comfortable whether walking or running and for a much better price.After having these for a couple months I'm really glad I got em. They are technically stability shoes (but very subtle stability which is better for me). I'm a neutral walker/runner and don't really need stability shoes and they work great for me. From what I understand the newer 12 and 13 models have a little more stability to them, so if you do pronate those might work.Not sure how the newer models fit, but I had to go a 1/2 size up in this model and they fit perfect.I believe this model is discontinued now, but honestly all the running shoes from Asics I've ever tried on were very comfortable for my feet. They look good and feel great.

Excellent walking shoe
My old familiar ASICS walking shoes finally went to the great sneaker graveyard in the sky, so decided to try a different pair of ASICS as the previous model was not made any longer. After doing some research I decided to give the GT-1000 a go. So far it has been fine for walks up to 10 miles (about as long as I would walk in them) with no discomfort.Note there was a slight issue breaking them in as the way the insole is glued to the sneaker had quite a bit of excess, but once broken in it easily came out. Now they are much more comfortable and provide good support.
