Great bottom grip and solid running shoe
I'm always on the hunt for a GREAT shoe for my speedy little 6yo. PROS: True to size, a little stiff when we first bought it, but it's loosened up in the first 4 days of wearing them. My son thinks the colors look pretty "cool" as his favorite color is red. The grip on the bottom of the shoe is every parent's dream! Most sketchers have a very slick bottom, where it's almost dangerous in my opinion to play on a slippery playground, or play tag/dodgeball/basketball. I take my son running 1-3 miles weekly, so he really can beat up his shoes. We use these shoes as our everyday shoe and running shoe, and they are flexible, medium weight, and he can pivot well in them. OH, and these were our first shoes that he has to tie himself. The laces are thick and long enough for him do it all by himself! CONS: There is one 1" inside seaming of the shoe that bothered my son at first, but I think it's softened up by now, so not a huge problem. I wish they also had more 1/2 sizes available so I could have sized up a little more and make them last longer for us. Growing kids' feet grow FAST!

Great Performance Shoes
I bought these shoes in January 2023 for my son. He used these at school, used them on track and field practice for a whole season and used them to travel in as well. They finally have gotten a hole on the fabric mesh but can still be worn till he out grows the size soon.My son loves this pair of shoes. This has by far been the longest any shoe he has had and used.I wanted to purchase it again in a larger size and do not see it available. I highly recommend this shoe if your kid is extremely active.
