Truly great shoe

These are truly great shoes. I was apprehensive about the rather flat (unraised heel) profile of this shoe, but it has turned out to be one of my favorite shoes. I wear these for walking and work, not for running trails. Not bulky on the foot, good grip, comfortable and well-fitting, and very cool colors and styling. I have a hard time understanding why this shoe doesn't have 3000 comments on it, and so I'm hoping Asics doesn't consider this shoe a failure because they created a great shoe here. More of the same please!

Like it so much, bought 3 versions

I was looking for a shoe that was:1. Lightweight2. For Trail AND Road running3. Wide enough not to irritate my Bunion AND Pinky toeNote that I have used Salomon trail shoes before but were too narrow, tried Merrels but were bit heavy. HOKAs are good, but the wide versions werent available in my country.First bought Fuji lite 3 sized US7, but found it painful due to my bunion being crushed and pinky toe hitting at the side. Returned it, the went half size up to US 7.5 and its perfect. and any small Fit issue can be remedied by a thicker sock or even Heel lock in the laces, especially doing uphills.PROS & CONS of each shoe:FUJI LITE 3Pros:- very lightweight- small profile- Lace pocket in the tonque, easier to store laces-comfy breathable materialCons:-Lugs are smaller than other trail shoes.FUJI LITE 4Pros- more cushion in the ankle compared to FJ3-lace pocked in tonque-cushion in the tonque helps mitigate lace choke pain going uphillCons- bigger profile\size in the outsoles compared to FJ3, but identical to FJ5- bit heavier than FJ3FUJI LITE 5Pros-most comfortable version compared to FJ3 and FJ4-wider/roomier in the toebox compared to FJ3Cons- They replaced the Lace pocket for an eyelet (seems backwards IMO)If i were to run longer distances and faster pace, id prefer the Fuji Lite 3 since its very lightweight and compact. For Hiking/walking id choose Fuji Lite 4 and Fuji Lite 5 since their roomier profile will help when my feet starts to be sore.

I love Asics shoes

There's no deep reasoning behind why I get this brand or the specific shoes I get from them other than I love the design of the shoes and they're pretty comfortable to me. They do their job and they last pretty long if you're not just running them through the ringer every day. Plus they have a little pocket on the flap that stores the laces. The only thing that sucks, imo, is that they often discontinue some pairs after a number of years and I have to find newer ones when my old pair has outlived their comfort and usefulness. But then again, what show company doesn't do that? Also I'm, admittedly, not someone who's all about having name brand items. Even though I personally wouldn't put Asics on the same level as Nike or Reebok in terms of brand recognition, they are known. That being said, I'm not looking to buy the latest and most popular footwear out there. I don't care about wearing designer shoes and I certainly don't give a damn about who made them. All I care about is that they're comfortable, and that they do what they're supposed to do: protect my feet front he elements. These shoes do that, they don't suddenly fall apart after four months of wear (they will last some years), AND they look cool. That's enough for me.

The manufacturer should pay more attention to the durability of their shoes.

Comfortable and lightweight sneakers. But after 7 months, the back part of them tore. The manufacturer should pay more attention to the durability of their shoes.

Ok basic daily wear not running

Have bought Asics for many years now. These i guess you'd call mid price range. Fit was good but feels like something is off in the bed of the shoe. Definitely doesn't have the cushion i thought it would. Not good for running.

Good shoe and good price

Good simple trail shoe. Very light, with a cool color scheme. I would recommend using shoes on mild terrains or faster/shorter trail runs or hikes, not for longer or tougher trails.
