Surprising, in a good way.
Purposefully got these for road running, primarily because the super expensive road shoes have not been durable. Wanted something to add into my rotation as I run 65+ miles per week. Broke these in only in one half marathon run before a half marathon race, and ended up clocking a PB.The fit is a narrow toe box, but it’s pleasantly light, comfortable - and while you immediately miss the return from the carbon plate shoes, the shock absorption is still very good.They look great too!

Meant for something else

They run small!!!
The shoes definitely run a size small. I have run in ASICS for over 20 years and the size has been consistent until now. There is absolutely no room in the toe box and the shoes are extremely limited in terms of the materials used to make them. As you can see from the photos, they are fairly see through. They are comfortable, but due to the size issue I am going to have to return them. I am a size 10 and this pair is a 10. My feet are squished and my toes are jammed in the toe box of the shoe. Great for a warm weather or triathlon application, but not the winters of New England.

Not what I expected
This shoe is mesh, which was not expected. The fit was fine, a little snug. I did not like the sole nor the grip of the shoes. Although it was a lightweight shoe, they were not comfortable over a long period
