A fast shoe with bounce
Male 5'7" 165 lbs, size 9.I am a long time everyday runner but also spend time at the gym and hence the body wieght.For me the Gel Nimbus Lite 2 is a shoe with bounce that almost instantly has me running at a much faster pace than the Nimbus Gel 23 ( a great easy day shoe). Of course the architecture between the two is entirely different save perhaps for the FlyteFoam midsole.The ride is much firmer but still very well damped for higher speeds and has bouce that returns energy to your stride. Although a neutral shoe and lighter in construction the Gel Nimbus Lite 2 does have a degree of stability designed into the midsole.It is comfortable, well cushioned for faster days and seems like it will last for many miles.I like this shoe and will add it to my running shoe rotation. I would buy it again. The quality of the ride was a pleasant surprise.
