Great as expected
I have been jogging in ASICS for 25+ years. They are generally consistent in quality, comfort and fit. My feet run average width, maybe a bit narrow, and I use Superfeet inserts in my neutral shoes to control mile pronation. A pair will last about 5-8 months for regular jogs of 2-5 miles 2-3 times a week, which is about what I would expect.This pair seems consistent with all the other ASICS models I have used, including earlier models of the Pulse. The fit is spot-on and the cushioning is just fine. I would say it’s like the Excite, Contend, Equation, Kanbarra, Cumulus, and others I have bought since starting to run in the 1990s. That means it’ll work well for me.Recommended for those who like the ASICS fit and feel. High mileage runners might want to look at pricier options made for longer distances.
