Good comfortable fit, stylish look, and good running padding and support
I'm a runner with battered knees and I ordered these as a more supportive and protective shoe option than the Nike running shoes I have worn previously. In my opinion the ASICS are much more of a true performance shoe for runners than the Nike's which seem more fashion focused. I've been running for 40 years and was a competitive runner in high school and college and these are just great running shoes. My knee issue (runners knee) that I had with the Nike's for the past year has improved almost completely in a matter of the 4 weeks since I got the ASICS. They are also light, comfortable, and stylish. No word yet on durability since I haven't had them long.

Awesome Shoes!
Comfortable, stylish, durable. No smell issues. No noise issues. Not sticking to the floor. These shoes match a lot of my clothes very well. I got exactly what I expected. These shoes are amazing! I've bought them a second time around as well. It does take a few days to break into them, so they can feel a bit tight at first, but then they fit perfect!5 stars all the way!

I had never owned a pair of ASICS before but wanted a pair of comfortable, good looking, black-on-black tennis shoes for work. Based on the description and reviews, I ordered a pair of the "Men's Gel-Quantum 90 Shoes." I was excited when I received them; great styling, lightweight, quality construction and comfortable ---well, almost. Unfortunately they were too narrow for my slightly wider feet. Depending on the style of shoe or boot, I typically wear either an 8.5 wide or 9. Lately I've been getting size 9's in both as "wide" is not always an option. As much as I wanted to keep these, the size 9's I received was just a bit too narrow. (I feared that as soon as I removed them from the box. They looked narrow to me.) Alas, after trying them on I knew I would not be able to keep them. They were just too snug across the ball of my feet. Too bad, too. I really liked the style and bet they would have been a comfortable, lightweight, durable shoe. I'd like to try ASICS brand again; perhaps other styles aren't as narrow. I'll just have to go to a retail outlet and "try before I buy."

Fit a smidge small. Breaths well. Very comfortable.
ASICS can vary by a half size. I typically wear a 11.5 in ASICS and 12 in Nike. Purchased these in 12 based on reviews and they fit perfect. I actually really like these shoes. They’re lightweight, breath well, and I like that they don’t have 30 pieces of pleather glued and stitched onto them. Great shoe for medium activity and they look pretty good too. My 16 year old son said they look like they should be worn by someone that’s more fit than me. Thanks son. Gotta love teenagers.Update: took a road trip and did some hiking in Arizona and West Texas. I wore these shoes and they didn’t last for 2 weeks. Absolutely shredded the soles and there are multiple holes in the fabric. Hiking is not the intended use of the shoes, but thought I’d share in case someone intends to use them in rocky terrain. They will not last. These are a casual walking shoe only, in my opinion. Insufficient support for running and too flimsy for hiking. But really comfortable and nice looking casual shoe.

could be a great shoe
No molded foot board insert that the arch support always hits my heel instead of under my arch. The shoe is Flexible. The cushion is perfect to me. The shoe is stable all the way tru the foot plant thru roll-off. I would rate these shoes all thumbs up except for DURABILITY!! I hate socks !!!! Without socks on my big toe will go thru the upper on these shoes in 1 week. These all mesh uppers SUCK!!! A nylon fabric toe cap that extended back just to the joints of the toes couldn't possibly be too heavy or too expensive. The shoes are HOT. The polyester fabric that is used for the uppers should be thrown out with the 1980's leisure suits that were made from polyester. The shoe companies made some great running shoes in the late "70s-early "80s ---like the Nike Elite. I ran every day 100+ miles a week in the two pairs of those I owned --injury free(stayed off concrete) Those shoes cost $28!! Again the asics gel quantum 90 would be in my opinion a 5 star shoe without the freekin poly-mesh upper!!!!!
