Love these. Wish they were still made instead of the new model Xs. Available in 14EE, which most tennis shoes are not. Solid, supportive, very durable, super comfortable (but do need a little break-in). Best tennis shoe made.
These are my absolute favorite tennis shoes!I’ve tried many different brands over the years, but nothing compares to the comfort, stability, and performance of these ASICS. They fit perfectly, provide great support during quick movements on the court, and feel incredibly light. I own several pairs from the ASICS line, and this model is hands down the best. I’m extremely happy with my purchase and highly recommend them to anyone serious about tennis. You won’t regret it!
I use these to play Pickleball. They are comfy and required no breakin. Quality is very good. Had mine for roughly a year now and they are holding up very well.
It took a while to break in but once it did, it was a great help on the court. It's super durable and fit well. I love the colors and heaviness. The only thing is that you don't want to make sudden stops dashing forward. It has powerful grip on the bottom of the shoe, but if you don't replace the insole, you will crush your toes on the inside. Its a good buy though.
Great shoe with awesome cushion
I play pickleball in these shoes 3–4 times a week, and they’ve been absolutely perfect. They offer excellent traction on the court and feel surprisingly light. I did go up half a size to 11.5, as ASICS tennis shoes tend to run snug in the toe box. That extra room makes lateral movement more comfortable and allows space for the sports insoles I use. Even without the insoles, these shoes are extremely comfortable and provide great support. At 6'2" and over 240 lbs, I’ve had zero issues—even after playing for more than 3 hours, my feet still feel great. I highly recommend these shoes. The colorway also looks fantastic on the court. While I haven’t had them long enough to comment on durability, I know people who’ve worn this exact model for nearly two years without problems. So far, they’ve been well worth the money -a phenomenal shoe.
I’ve bought three pairs of these Asics Gel Resolution 9 tennis shoes since they fit so well. I really liked the Gel Res 7 (but not the 8) and the Asics Court FF2 (not the FF3), but these Gel Res 9s fit the best. I particularly like how they hold my feet very snug and provide firm grip on indoor hard courts. I also really like the black/white/blue color combo.My only minor complaints are that the laces on the size 9-1/2 shoes are much too short when using the last shoe lace hole, so I replace them with laces about 8” longer, and the sole tends to wear out a bit quicker than other tennis shoes.Also note that I typically order ASIC tennis shoes (size 9-1/2) in a half size smaller than Nike tennis shoes (size 10) since they run slightly larger.
