Excellent running shoes. Very comfortable. I use them for the gym, hikes, or runs. I only buy ASICS. I never buy any other brand. The larger width is perfect for my foot. Pretty cool looking and versatile too.
I am absolutely thrilled with the ASICS Men's GEL-1000 running shoes. From the moment I unboxed them, I was impressed. This is truly a good-looking sneaker—the design is sleek and modern, making them just as great for casual wear as they are for a run. However, the real magic is the performance and feel. The comfort is incredible! The cushioning system is responsive without being overly soft, providing amazing support for my runs and all-day wear. You can immediately feel the high-quality materials used in the construction; they feel durable, well-stitched, and breathable.

These were very comfortable the first few weeks I wore them, walking everywhere in them. I have mild over pronation, and wider feet, so got the x-wide, and the fit was great, and there was ample room for my toes to spread. Arch support was neutral, and eventually as they broke in, I realized both my big toes would hurt after wearing them for 3+ hours. Not sure why this is, but coming from Saucony Guide 15s, I never had this issue. Will try the GT 2000s or maybe the Kayano next.
I bought these sneakers a little over a month ago. They are the most comfortable sneakers I’ve ever worn with great support front back. When you first put them on they may be tight. But give them 5mins and they adjust. I have wide feet(4e or extra wide) and a hard time finding shoes that fit. I was a New Balance guy and they fit well usually, but they are ugly. My Asics look great and fit great.
