These are the best running shoes I've ever had. I need cushioning to avoid injury, but in the past that has usually meant thick, somewhat cumbersome footwear. These are light and airy as minimalist running shoes, make you feel like you have extra spring in your step; at the same time, they soften the bounce and provide good protection for your feet. I will buy these again.
It was like night and day. I run alot. I did some research and found these shoes. Kinda pricey but I'm getting older and I want to take care of my knees and ankles. I did not regret it. Most enjoyable runs I've had in years. Not only did nothing hurt, but better posture and increased speed. Can't recommend enough. Will never buy a different track shoe. 10 outta 5.
I literally love them so much I bought a second pair in case ASICS ever decides to change these. I am a neutral runner that puts in about 20-23 miles a week. I always struggle to find shoes that have cushion that don't make my feet cramp or cause pain. I tried the Novablast 3's and my feet immediately killed me. I need something that allows my feet to do the work and these are literally perfect. The carbon plate makes all the difference. There's just enough cushion that I can do speed training up to about 10 miles without ANY pain at all. I am 4 months in and I can honestly say these are the best running shoes I have ever worn and I've worn a lot. Worth every penny IMO.
Light, responsive and fast. The only reason it didn’t get 5* is because it felt kind of loose fit in the mid foot. If you have thin feet, try them first.
These shoes are great for medium to max effort runs. Tempo, strides, workout runs are great for this shoe. The shoes definitely want to go fast - not ideal for slower paced runs.These shoes are also great for anyone curious to know what a carbon plated show might be like without paying the high price to find out.
I did a 2 - 1-1-1 mile workout out of the box. Ran 6 min miles with a 7 min effort. Broken in they will go faster and conform to my feet more. some pains at 1st . but the speed was fun regardless.
Extremely light weight, well padded shoes! I’m 250lb runner and theses shoes felt great! First run was a 7mile stretch and I pr the distance, like I shaved off 40 sec a mile! The shoes feel like they want to go faster. The shoe laces are the only thing I didn’t like, they felt cheap compared to the rest of the shoe.
