Love these trail shoes. I used these in a spartan race and they were excellent. I would say they are more on the cushion side compared to other trail shoes. Less ground feel. But that’s exactly what I was looking for in a long distance trail shoe. Some people have issues with grip. I was not one of those people. The shoes were on pavement, mud, dirt. Even through river for a half mile. Never had an issue.
Love the Asics Trabuco Max 4. These shoes fit as expected, are very comfortable and are proving to be durable. I log plenty of miles and wear shoes out quickly. I originally bought these shoes to see if trail shoes could last longer for me. The ride and durability have sold me!
Excellent shoes, the correct size, recommended, they are very good for training
The toes roll forward which is nice for running with such a think sole, but a little off-putting when standing and walking around at first. Very comfortable otherwise, durability remains to be seen but has taken rocky terrain pretty well for the last few months.

Ive been wearing these for years but I purchased this pair for my husband who's never owned any Asics shoes. He wears size 12 and he loves these shoes. He is not a runner, but when hiking he does not feel rocks under his feet and has excellent traction. I would purchase these again.
