It looked fine but was way too narrow for my foot.

It looked fine but was way too narrow for my foot.
Asics are the only shoes most of my family wears. The arch support and the comfort of the design are top notch. My podiatrist, listed these in the top five of the best shoes to wear for your feet.
I guess it's fair to say I like this shoe because this is my 3rd pair. To be clear, I am not a runner. I don't run trails in these nor do I run on pavement. If you see me running, you should consider running too because I'm probably running away from something. My guess is I might choose a different shoe if I was training for a long run, like maybe a 1/2K.Fit and comfort in a shoe are a very individual thing, and I've always found that Asics work well on my feet. These shoes look great, fit well, and I fully expect them to hold up to the rigors of dog-walking and grocery shopping.
I use these to walk in and they are comfortable. Fit is a little narrow and snug. I have put many miles on them . Good quality at a good price.
You can't go wrong with an ASIC shoe
After three runs (3.5mi,10mi,3mi - all mostly pavement with some grass), I really want to like this shoe. The shoe itself is fine. It strikes well, absorbs the shock, doesn't try to steer my foot, is generally comfortable*, and looks sturdy. The toe-box is a smidge too tight and my feet feel it. ASICS, widen the toe-box to make this shoe a winner. After another week of running, I've determined that I can not run anything more than a 5k in these. The toe-box is too cramped. I've got wing-tip style sweat marks and a visible bruise under my right toe-nail. I hope I do not lose my toe-nail.I'll attempt to repurpose these for activities other than running.
Comfortable and great grip excellent fit.
