The Fine Court Sport Shoe

Joey Here! This is not a Vine offering. I purchased this product myself. I ordered a 10.5 and it was a bit tight. Amazon quickly exchanged it for a size 11 and it fits snugly, but not tight. The red color is bright and will definitely be noticed on the pickleball courts. Like a good court show, the sides are firm. There is so much side to side movement on pickleball and tennis courts that a running or walking sneaker just won't provide the support needed. A solid pick!

Comfy Shoe, Fits True To Size (Just One Annoying Exception)

I've been trying to replace my 11 year old Asics Cross-Trainers (on which the soles finally started separating, and, of course, they don't make that style anymore). Tried an Avia (which was disappointing, and I've reviewed elsewhere). Decided to try these Asics "court shoes" instead of a "cross-trainer." They're very comfortable out of the box, and fit true to size. The thing I will have to get used to is the cloth/fabric upper; my cross-trainers were leather, so we'll see how this holds up. First work-out was fine; no shoe or foot issues at all.The one SUPER annoying thing is the shoe laces. I was so annoyed, I actually took pictures. The included shoe laces were frustratingly short. As you can see from the first photo, there was barely enough length to tie a bow. Fortunately, I had the foresight to save the laces from my old cross-trainers and put those in. There's only about an inch-and-a-half difference, but that's all it takes to make the shoe more wearable. My feet are pretty normal size, so I don't think it's a "fat foot" problem. I think it's a "let's cut costs" problem on the part of Asics, and for that, the shoe gets a 4 star rating instead of 5. Bottom line - I recommend the shoe; just make sure you have shoe-laces that are AT LEAST 55 inches long. Any shorter and you will have troubles tying them.

Great shoes

I originally had the Gel-Renma's and really liked those shoes for pickleball, a little narrow but they were great. I think these shoes are actually better. They breathe better because toe box is mesh vs the Renma's are not. You may lose a some durability because of that difference but my feet run hot so I guess we will see how they hold up. I also feel like the Upcourt 5's are a pinch wider. If you do have a wide foot I would be careful because this shoe might not work for you, keep that in mind. Overall, great shoe!In the, picture the Upcourt 5's are on the left, Renma's on the right.

A great show for general fitness workouts, mobility classes etc.

Signed up for a my first fitness class in years as part of New Year resolutions. As soon as we started doing jumping jacks, mountain climbers and lateral mobility exercises, I found my foot rolling inside my traditional running shoes - and indeed felt very unstable in the forefoot and ankle area. These shoes may be designed for v-ball, but they are great for they gym - not too heavy (like a lots of tennis show based cross trainers are) and not as dorky looking as many current cross fit shoes. They look similar to older Puma and Adidas Samba soccer shoes (except they have a fabric vs leather upper). A nice relatively sticky "blonde" sole that holds well without squeaking or marking) but that is flexible enough for moderate treadmill work (2-4Miles).And a the current price, about ½ the price of a running shoe like my Sacouny Guides. May actually buy a second set as my street sport shoe too.

Super narrow shoe - Run Very Small

This is a rediculously narrow shoe. Asics dropped the ball on this shoe. It seems made well and a good court shoe for stability. Also, as others have described, the strings are way too short for this shoe.
